    Glory, I wish you luck.
As for your assertion about buying your way back into the big time there is ONE MASSIVE STUMBLING BLOCK, FFP regulations.

If you cannot pay the staff wages now, how do you think you can go out and spend loadsa money to buy yourself out of this league ?
FFP was brought in specifically to prevent precisely this.

Your new owners will have to first balance the books then strive to grow slowly..........be thankful that you have avoided administration

Suspect that McCormack will have to be sold this coming summer to pay for a new squad

As I said before, wish you good fortune[/QUOTE]

I hope you come straight back up .......
.... From the blue square or whatever it is these days.

Two things ... 1) Haigh going nowhere, he has shares in Leeds ... 2) please oh fcuking please STOP the comparisons with Abramovitch, the Russian took Chelsea (on a par with Cagliari as a hopeless club bouncing between the top two divisions) from nowhere to trophy winners BECAUSE he pumped in something like £500m over four years, buying top players and redeveloping Stamford Bridge and settling their huge debt, which was a lot more than we owe ... you've never heard of Cagliari spending £10m on a player have you, never mind £50m on a Torres ... no comparison, so don't make it ... Cellino has been dramatically gun shy with Cagliari, and his transfer dealings have shown a profit ... I hope he goes senile and pumps £100m into the squad, but it doesn't seem likely ... for now at least he seems to have chosen stability, but I imagine McD will be under pressure to win every game 5-1 from now on

If he clears our debts, buys the ground and TA, and adds a decent player or two now and again, that'll be blinding <ok>

If he pumped £100 million into the club, the answer from a few on here would be he hasn't pumped £200 million into the club,if he buys the ground back and puts up a small amount for players,he will have done more personally than any owner in the history of the club.As for McD being under pressure to win every game 5-1,I hope him and the team are, very lucky not to have been sacked after Rochdale and Wednesday time to step up to the mark or get out medeocre should no longer be tolerated.

The things that stand out the most there are that when the club had the most success was when the crowd went down the most.Makes you think the reason was not related to the team at all, probably coincidind with live tv games etc.Which has had a massive effect on English football too.

Now get the attendance stats for every other club in Serie A (or Italy) over the same period of time and you will see a drop in attendance across 95% of Italian clubs over the same period of time. FACT

Should provide the kick in the arse a lot of the playing squad needed. Last ten games apart from last Saturday have been shocking, a playing squad unable to play to baffling systems put together by McD. Maybe they had become lazy, with an easy mid table position assured. That won't be the case now. Every one of them, including McD, need to give 100% or they will have no futures at Leeds. Personally, I've no problem with that. I don't think anyone could honestly tell me our lot have been giving 100% of late or anything remotely near it

Eire, have to agree that the baffling systems would have taken their toll, but that doesn't excuse players from doing the basics. Tackling, closing down, set pieces & passing, for example, are not affected by systems. Something is awfully wrong when players can't do the basics with some sort of consistency. I can understand an individul having a bad day & buggering up the basics, but a whole team, week after week? Something's not right!

Maybe last weeks comedy from Friday night to Saturday kick off will be the new way forward. BMcD can call it' musical team sheet' where all the players keep jogging until the music stops and then tries to get into the team. last man is on the bench etc. fooking worked well last week <laugh> Repeat this every 4-hours and those that have been in the most get to play <ok>

Exactly, thats why I wouldn't lose a nights sleep over quite a few being moved out if we have an owner with the finances to bring in better

You mean he's well known for picking the players himself and picking the team himself? I want him to **** off.
