I'm very sorry to have to say this, to you all, but I think all this banter has gone too far!

One of the Hull mods has lost all interest in the game tomorrow because of some hurtful comments from horrid Sunderland posters.

Please have a little compassion, some of these people are very fragile at this difficult time.

Hull City AFC (DMD)

"I know the result is important, but the crud and nonsense from a fair number of Sunderland fans have drained all the suction out of the interest pump.

I don't recall being so disinterested in a game in a long time."

Some may say that's because he lives his entire life through the Hull board and that only an idiot would lose interest in an actual football match because of a few daft comments on a chat forum.

But remember, this person may not have your advantages and perhaps lacks the ability to leave his mam's back bedroom and get out into the real world.

His keyboard may be his only friend and now you've even ruined that for him ............ hang your heads in shame <doh>

Elmo will get nothing but abuse from me due to his shocking play acting in getting Catts sent off at Hull. The rest will get a warm (ish) welcome

He doesn't really get this 'football fan' lark does he?

Football by nature is confrontational, men going onto a field to battle against each other, to score points (goals) wearing uniforms (kits) to show belonging and loyalties.

What a ****ing mug.

Too busy merging or deleting threads, telling everyone he's a mod, 'tidying up' his forum, banning people who he can't cope with and licking his own arse.

If you can't take it you shouldn't try dishing it out ......... him and his little pals were a disgrace, on here, after the last game but now they're wondering why Sunderland are popping over there.

He's now come back with, "Southampton should be a good game...decent fans too."

He really believes the matches are played out on his board doesn't he <yikes>

I'll have to stop looking, I keep laughing out loud and our lass is trying to watch Corrie <doh>

Personally I'll take it like a man as I always do.

I never hide and have already said I'd be happy with a draw.

We lose and I'd start looking at the next game as always.

I have much more respect for the Hull team than I do for their dreary wums ybh.

It'll be another tough game for us, after all we're in a relegation battle.

You have to remember this is all just a bit of daft banter on a little chat board, not real life.

take it on the chin, not gonna happen though

Poyet focused ahead of Hull clash
Published: 07 February, 2014
by Stuart Vose
Head coach previews Saturday's action on Wearside.
Gus Poyet won’t accept any complacency as his side look to make it three league wins in a row tomorrow.
Sunderland face Hull at the Stadium of Light having beaten Stoke and Newcastle in their previous two outings.
We need to keep going, believe and make sure we put those extra few points between us and the bottom
- Gus Poyet
The Black Cats have banked an impressive 14 points since Christmas and welcome Steve Bruce’s Tigers on Saturday (KO 3pm – tickets still available).
Ahead of his side’s 1-0 win against Stoke last week, Poyet spoke of the importance of the upcoming sequence of games and is delighted with a maximum return of points from the last two fixtures.
And he’s fully focused on that run continuing.
“We’ve won the first two [of the spell] and the idea now is to go one better and win three,” he told safc.com at the Academy of Light.
“We must not be complacent and think we’ve done the job. We need to keep going, believe and make sure we put those extra few points between us and the bottom.”
Hull were active during the January transfer window, with their signings including the high-profile captures of West Brom’s Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic of Everton.
And despite a difficult recent run, Poyet says the Tigers are always a tough proposition.
“They spent some money in January and went for strikers,” said the Uruguayan, who bolstered his own squad with five signings last month.
“Hull play a different system to most of the other teams and it is difficult to play against them.
“I always say that in this type of game we need to concentrate on ourselves first and make sure we play well.”
The current calendar year has seen plenty of progress for Sunderland under Poyet, who has guided his side to a Wembley final as well as making headway in the league.
And the Uruguayan can feel the positivity around the city, saying “there’s no better feeling” than notching victories.
“We don’t realise sometimes, because we are focused on the work and on the game, how many people we make happy by winning football games,” he told the press.
“When you see the reactions of the fans, the celebrations and the people in the street, you realise how important it is and how lucky we are to be in this position.”

You'll need to be, it's windy up there, in the away section, when the crowd is a bit sparse <ok>
