http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/feb/07/premier-league-ten-things-look-forward 4) Check out Southampton's midfield linchpin Jack Cork for England! OK, perhaps not, but Cork should certainly start more regularly for Southampton. Victor Wanyama was re-introduced to the side prematurely last week after injury and it was only when Cork came on at half-time that Southampton began to take Fulham apart. He may not be quite as dynamic as Wanyama is (when fully fit) but Cork is not sluggish and is a far more careful and canny passer. He and Morgan Schneiderlin can lay the foundation for victory over Stoke this week. Oh, and Schneiderlin for France! PD
Jack Cork says Adam Lallana will follow in the footsteps of Matt Le Tissier: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/adam-lallana-follow-matt-le-3123089
With Sam Gallagher on compassionate leave and the u21s playing Friday afternoon I thought I would make a wild assumption and say Omar Rowe may well be in with a chance of being in the 1st team squad. He didn't play whilst Isgrove & Reed did. Looking at our squad and picking fit senior players for the bench Davis, K - Hooiveld - Chambers - Wanyama - JWP - Guly - ??? He could just be injured, but think we may have a new face on the bench. We certainly need an attacking option
Totally agree. Any injury and atm its just Guly to bring on. I'd like to see Seager get a chance. Prolific goal scorer.
That is actually quite a compliment - keep in mind Cork will have been training with Chelsea in the mid-2000s, when Cole was really good and a very regular England starter.
Sunny here too, but very windy. Off to the ferry now, on route to match ... feeling very confident today. COYR!!!
Good chance to take newcastle's place in the table today. 3-1 saints today.what score you all going to predict?
