Serious question. Assuming they were offered last minute tickets at inflated prices, how safe would two Bluebirds be in this stand as long as they keep quiet and sit on their hands when City score? I won't debate this to prevent arguments breaking out but would appreciate any feedback.
Fine. Just don't go in the North Stand mate with all the psychopathic lads from Den Haag masquerading as Ajax fans, it could be a bloodbath. City? You mean Swansea City? If it's the red team you'll get the crap beat out of you.
This request reminds me when I had tickets to the welsh derby the last time we played in the championship at legoland. Had directors box tickets for my father and me (family member is a bluebird...you can't choose family apparently !).I thought we would be fine as the plan was to not to cheer etc...BUT we were close to being thrown out by the stewards....not because of me (early 40's , shaven head..thuggish looking !) but because of my Dad (who's in his 80's) who couldnt help but stand and cheer the swans despite my strict orders!! now there's a true fan...someone who couldnt keep quiet despite his dangerous surroundings !!! ... I love my Dad Being a south stand STH with my two kids and their grandfather, I wouldnt have an issue, as long as you keep shut...but it would be more difficult than you think... imagine bellamy scoring in 90th minute with a free kick (I don't want to !!!)...would you be able to keep quiet..I don't think so....not if you are a true supporter. My experience of the south stand is that there are quite a few NON regulars at these derby games who don't know the south stand etiquette (for the benefit of the youngsters), and act in the same manner as they would when they sit elsewhere in the stadium. So be warned...it may not be just Family Stand regulars who are sitting next to you. I dread to think what would happen if the Redbirds scored a late winner and you stood up!! Also, note to fellow swans supporters...If you are in the SOUTH STAND and don't usually sit there, remember it is the FAMILY STAND for a reason... if I hear 'extreme' vulgarities (C word etc ) within earshot of my 5 year old I will have words with you and the stewards... My kids are the loudest cheerers in our area (they cheers with the East Stand and sing ALL the songs...so you can too!)....so don't ruin it for them , please. CMON the swans !!!
The South stand is the family stand, and you should not be hearing such gutter language, but clearly some idiots were dragged up, and know no different, don't be shy to call a steward to shut their foul mouth!.................. PS: Or you can call on the Ffsdon he's well equipped to deal with them, and sits bang smack in the center of the South stand!...
Why wouldn't he be safe cheering? Are Swans fans really a bunch of Neanderthals.If he cheered near me I wouldn't care. It's only football. We're all entitled to support whoever we want.
Plastic, it's a derby match isn't it? Of course it would be silly to cheer an oposition goal while sitting in the home stand. Personally, I'm against Cardiff fans sitting in seats that should go to Swansea fans. But if the boot was on the other foot and the only tickets I could get for the derby at legoland meant sitting in the home stands, I think I would snap them up. Hope they have a safe day if they go!

I wouldn't advise sitting anywhere in the home end if your a scummer, like someone's already said imagine 90th minute you score a screamer would you - whoever it was really have time to remember you have to be quiet . Some people will be on the look out for them to. It is the family stand but tickets do get general sale and it is a derby game, you could have anyone in there with you
What a stupid question , once they ask where they can buy a klarksssss pie in that whiney accent their fair game to anyone who feels offended by their presence , it'll be bad enough with a row of coppers and stewards between us and them ,no segregation then god know what might happen .
If I was you Bob, don't even think about it. I know four a five people that sit in the south stand. Three of them are posters here and believe me they wouldn't amused at all with ANY Cardiff fan siting in the same stand. One thing siting in the home stands when your the away team, but to do this in a derby game is VERY risky. I've had the pleasure of sitting in with the home fans at Ninian Park, back in the dark days when no away support was allowed, I was with my brother in law and his father (Cardiff season ticket holders). Trust me your emotions will take the better of you, IF (hope not) score. I did that when Keith Walker scored, and couldn't help myself, needless to say I was made to feel very welcome by all and sundry. It might be the south stand, but trust me YOU WILL NOT BE MADE WELCOMED.
