Saturday see's an away trip for Leeds to bottom of the league Yeovil Town. With everything that has been going on off the field and the ridiculous confusion surrounding the ownership of the club, Leeds fans will be looking forward to a football distraction. Even amidst the 24 hours of chaos last weekend, the team and skipper Ross McCormack put on a show winning the local derby with Huddersfield in style and scoring 5 in the process. Yeovil didn't have the best of times last time out with a 3-1 defeat at Nottingham Forrest and Gary Johnson will be looking for something from this game. With 19 left to play and 6 points from safety it's not quite all over yet, but Yeovil will need to find some form from somewhere. Leeds will arrive in buoyant spirits with the reinstatement of Brian McDermott and the performance last week as two huge positives to draw on.

    What Do the Stats Say?

There aren't many previous meetings between these two to draw upon, with Leeds undefeated in the 7 games since the sides first met in League One in 2007. The recent form of both is remarkably similar despite their contrasting fortunes, but everything points to a Leeds win. Yeovil's home record this season has been woeful, with only 2 wins in front of their own fans. Add this to the fact that Yeovil have conceded at least 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 Championship outings and things look bleak for Johnson's boys. Leeds have managed a clean sheet in 5 of the 7 previous games against Yeovil, while scoring at least 2 in the last 4 meetings.

    Yeovil Town

    Top Scorers (League)

    Ed Upson...4
    Ishmael Miller...4
    James Hayter...3

Yeovil tried and failed to strengthen in the January window, with a clear need for some goals in the side. Johnson has almost all of his players available to him though Liam Davis is looking doubtful ahead of this one. Youngster Kieffer Moore is expected to start upfront along side James Hayter, hoping to bring some joy to the Town fans.

    Leeds United

    Top Scorers (League)

    Ross McCormack...21
    Matt Smith...7
    Rodolph Austin...2

Leeds are still without Matt Smith who serves the last game of his suspension here. With much improved performances from Kebe and Stewart last weekend, his absence may not be as apparent this time out. League leading scorer Ross McCormack contributed a hat trick against Huddersfield, and the skipper will be looking to further add to his goal tally this weekend. Back in the hot seat, Brian McDermott may well name an unchanged side from last weekend.

    The Damned Prediction: 0-2 Win

Yeovil have struggled to score goals, and while we've given away a few soft ones in recent weeks, I think we'll manage the clean sheet here. If Kebe, Stewart and Ross put on a good attacking display then we shouldn't have too much trouble scoring. It all depends once again, on the attitude of the players in light of the off the field situation. If the players were "doing it for Brian" last week, they need to find a reason to show the same level of passion this time out. How about "do it for the fans who are suffering through all of this rubbish?!".

I've gone for unchanged from the last game. Why fix it if it isn't broken? I worry that we are still far too dependant on Ross' goals, because we all know he can hit a dry spell now and then, but with Smith still suspended we'll just have to hope his confidence carries on against a weak defence. Lees has come in for a bit of criticism in recent weeks, but then so have Wooton and Zaliukas (who has disappeared off the face of the earth recently) so why not stick with him for now. Certainly a better option than Peltier in the middle for me.

Over to the not606 faithful, let's have some score and team predictions

Yeah there a funny team capable of beating anyone. We are there for the taking in there eyes and if we perform like we have been we are in trouble.

players really need to roll there sleeves up and play for McDermott as thats exactly what they will be doing. A defeat to the bottom of the table team on the back of our poor run (hudders excluded) and McDermott could find himself sacked twice in a week!

I thought Smith was back for this game, probably still wouldn't play him though.

I'd imagine it'll be pretty much an unchanged line-up, maybe reverting back to 4-4-2 to put Yeovil more on the back foot. I think the pressure is well and truly on the manager and players at the moment, every game seems like a must win or face the consequences.

I think this will be a tough game, so I'm going for a 2-2 draw

Will the weather and a really soggy pitch determine that our wingers are benched? I hope not - get the ball out to the wings and deliver it to Smith's head time and again. Think Stewart and Kebe can do that, but who would you drop from the Udders match to bring in Smith?
