Welcome to LEEDS Mr Cellino. Very gracious of you to promote Haigh and Nooruddin but I think we all know they wont be in their positions long. It`s just business, a bit like Bates staying on when GFH took over!

Cellino is well know in Italy for finding very good players through his scouting net work all over the world, lets hope that continues at Leeds.

And then putting them in the team whether the manager, wait, "coach", wants them or not, before selling them and putting none of the funds back in the team.

    Can't wait!

Well anything is better than what we had Simon and the Italian will want to see a return on his investment ..... how will he do that? he will ensure we have enough money to get promoted and pick up a share of the wealth. He will buy back TA and ER again something we haven't had for 10-years, so Simon which do you prefer a club going nowhere owned by skint chancer's, or someone who wants success. Yes accepted he may throw his weight around if we are not moving forward quick enough, but rather that than wallow where we are or go bust again

You can not compare Cagliari to Leeds! Cagliari are thought of as a "small" team in Italy who even though in the top league, (Serie A) have always struggled to keep hold of their star players, the local authorities reluctance to build a new ground after Italy failed in their bid for the Euro 2016 Championships has also not helped. This problem is through out Italy not just at Cagliari, many teams are struggling to get new grounds built because of the "politics" that you have to go through to get permission.

If Leeds do get back into the Premier League under Signor Cellino then the problem of not being able to keep our best players will vanish, a bit like how he blocked Ross leaving at any price last week, but obviously everyone has a price if a crazy bid comes in, just ask Man U!

Looking at McDermotts signings and how uninspiring they have been I would rather Cellino do the looking ;) <ok> wouldn't mind if he brings that Brazilian loan signing he had just secured with him.

Exactly. Cagliari in Serie A would be like say the wallies getting in to the PL and some rich fecker managing to keep them there. Thats what his achievements at Cagliari can be compared to

No use arguing about it, he is our new owner and none of us can do anything about it. Happy or unhappy with the outcome he is the new owner of the team we love lets hope it is for the better and not the worse as some fear.

Get on his back early on and it could backfire on us, let him feel wanted a little and he 'might' do things a little better and with a little more consideration for the fans <ok>

You mean the 5,000 crowds that dropped from 20,000+ under Cellino's watch?

They were in Serie A when he took over.

But no, let's all pretend everything will be fine and none of us actually look at any facts.

Simon, do you know anything about Italian football because by this question it would suggest you know nothing about what has been going on at Cagliari for years?

Something else he did while at Cagliari " During his years as Cagliari owner, Cellino was instrumental in the building of Cagliari Calcio's sports centre in Assemini, near Cagliari, named after his father Ercole"

When was the last time a Leeds chairman did anything like this for the club without amassing massive debts?

If the council stopped us playing in Leeds the same would happen to us.But lets pretend that didn't happen to them and fans just stopped going shall we.

Cellinos from Cagliari he was born there Italians are very proud of their roots, what he did for cagliari he did for his people,

Now is a whole new ball game he has done this off his own back because he is a raving looney <laugh> in Cagliari he probably had the full support of his family now he is probably on his own <ok> and he wont get away with half of what he could get away with back home,,,best see how it pans out <ok>

    GOOD LUCK
