I can't tell if that's sarcastic or not! The stuff we sell is actually high quality! Ok maybe not the figurines, but the personalised stuff is the dogs testes
Would John Lewis stock the £2.89 Nefertiti & stick it on the shelf next to some quality items? Just a thought like....
Doesn't cost me anything Unless of course you mean people thinking I'm selling crap and driving them away. In that case you might be onto something. EDIT: It's one of the items with the most views - people on ebay are weird.
People are looking at it with incredulity mate, as they're stunned that someone could offer such a strange piece of tat, in amongst half decent looking personalised items........
Vincent - Believe it or not selling huge batches of personalised lanyards can bring in a reasonable amount of cash. Get some big firms on your side and you'll do well on it. I only know this as a mate used to do it. He happened to move to Thailand, so knocked it on the head. But he made a decent few quid out of it To be honest I might even be able to get his old contacts if you sort me out some Manchester United loo roll, I would like Everton on one side and Utd on the other, as I like to fold mid wipe.
Thanks for the tip, but for now I'm sticking with the stuff I've got. At the moment I can only list 100 things on ebay til I get a few more feedbacks in and they can increase it, but I have access to over 5000 items. I'm already selling a few things a day with <50 listed so hopefully will be raking it in once I have everything on there. EDIT: No loo roll, but you can always poo in this.. please log in to view this image
Thread necromancy! (Who needs new threads all the time?!) Update: I now have my own website. It's a work in progress in terms of getting the items on there but I've put up all the Manchester United stuff and a small proportion of some other things. http://cool-gift-shop.co.uk/54-manchester-united
Nope. I used to sell stuff when I was in uni as a bit of extra income then stopped for a few years. Proposed to my better half about 2 years ago and started selling again to help cover wedding costs (married next month!). So basically I'm not a cash & carry owner I'm just a half-arsed entrepreneur.
