I have just seen the weather forecast for tomorrow on BBC News. An absolute deluge of rain from about 1pm onwards in London. Will the game even happen?
Exactly... anyone with eyes can see that this is going to be our new owners business model going forward (I said as much in my thread last week). It just depends if Powell is happy with the position of Coach rather than Manager. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. After the recent transfer shambles I suspect he will.
Game on... at the moment. http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/20140207-pitch-inspection-birmingham-city-1344748.aspx
If it goes ahead today it's not going to be one for the purists. I can see Nikola Zigic getting a rare start...!! If there was ever a game where we needed Kermorgant's aerial prowess this is it.
Is Peter the Pole eligible to play today? I hope so. Not that I know anything about any of them, just that I get the impression he might be a positive addition to our team. I think after today we should get a rough idea what division we'll be in next season.
I can't help but think today's game is going to be absolutely wretched. I'm therefore not expecting to see very much in the way of quality from either side. All I want to see is the never say die fighting spirit that 'could' get us out of the brown stuff.
Either this side is going to be "good" in which case we will finish 15th or lower midtable or its not in which case we are down.I dont think this will be a team that will be capable of going to the last game and getting out of it by a point or two.
The rain just started from a very dark sky, wonder how late I can leave before setting off today as I fear the match may still be called off.
Sunny in Forest Hill now! According to the BBC it will be showery until 5 o'clock then heavy rain. Think I'll need my bovril.
Bit pissed off to be honest that no mention of the weather has been made by CAFC OFFICIAL on Twitter etc this morning. Fair enough they have tweeted saying 'see you at 3' but I think they're being a bit negligible.
Unfortunately, I am not going to risk it, I don't want to waste time travelling to the game without being certain it will be played, it is disappointing as I haven't seen us play since the Doncaster rescheduled match.
Dartford FC (who are also having drainage issues', have a pitch underwater at the moment. Maybe if we can keep the dome on until half past two?
