following another lacklustre jordan henderson performance, this time against ukraine u21's, where he once again showed an inability to control the midfield and possession against poor opposition, it raises the following question..

By the same token Hernandez was awful in his past few games. should we then estimate that thats all he's got, 2 games?

It was more a reference to KPR closing of threads last night which involved anything remotely negative about Henderson ( even though I defended Henderson ).

I know debate is 'tolerated' otherwise I wouldn't spend so much time on your board

hes a young lad and hes not done very well in 2 games for england.

Well the england senior team did a bit naff last summer.

Sure he will be a solid player albeit not a world beater.

 

you're a pretty fickle football fan if you're judging a player on 2 games with a team full of kids after a season where he has been played out of position... but ho-hum each to their own

As you may or may not have seen I have stated on a few threads it's unfair to judge Henderson and wait until you see him play for half at season at Liverpool before forming an opinion.

I guess it was difficult for Henderson to shine when the "Future of England's Defence" spent 90mins hoofing it over his head to sturridge.

 

If KPR closes the thread, I'd like to think it won't be for criticism of anything LFC, but because this is about the 57th (I exaggerate for effect ) Henderson-based thread in a week.

Well the Liverpool forum rightly should be for anything regarding Liverpool whether good or bad (even our own fans enjoy a good dig about Poulsen, N'Gog etc.)
Yourself and United19Red seem, from the more recent crop of MU fans on here (and, to be fair, fans of other teams), to be some of the few worth debating with. Mainly because you actually read thread titles and other posts, rather than charging in with something unrelated in order to cause a stir.
Some LFC supporters will tell you to p*ss off regardless, but they're best ignored.
