I never understood what neg rep was and why some people were going on about it until a few months ago. Since then I have dished out lots of positive rep but never neg rep. I never understood the fuss over giving stars [or whatever it was] on bbc I only ever rated 2 threads and gave both 5 stars.
Doesnt bother me if my bars green or red tbh, cant believe Tobes got in such a strop about it. And poor show for not coming back before the Derby My gold star is because Gerrez tried to take loads of points off me but ended up giving me all of his
I never look at my bar or points or whatever tbh and only recently found a page under my profile with comments for me and positive rep - so thanks to all those people I think the tobes issue may be not so much about the neg rep itself, but more about just the one person dishing it out. maybe .... possibly astro
If you click on a name sometimes it says give away points I think. Doesnt always show though, tried to give him them back but its not showing as an option to do On some other names though it does appear
Just looking at my bar now it seems there's a bit of correlation between the points and rep power - I don't understand it really.
