http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/ManageroftheMonthArticle Bugger off, we don't need the curse!!!!
Pearson is nominated alongside 'Arry, Billy Davies & Stuart Gray. I've no idea of the criteria they use to decide the winner, both us & QPR won all of our games. We beat teams that were mainly higher placed and in some case, in better form with 2 clean sheets. But I vote for 'Arry...
If any of the panel watched the Derby game, Pearsons a shoe in for it. Nugent scored 4 and had 4 assists ... possible, but will prob go to Le Fondre for 2 hat-tricks.
For me - Pearson will get the manager Le Fondre will get the player Not worried by either - we are already in record territory ... so either that will continue or we'll still have had our best ever run ... still good ... not a bad time to play Watford ... they are still a very dangerous, somewhat unpredictable, side ... but appear to be vulnerable defensively ... overall I think that makes us favourites in this game because we are creating bucketloads of chances ... exciting in'it?
"When" we lose a game (and we will!) we will just start again and try for anohter long unbeaten stretch
Unsurprisingly it's Nige! http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/070214-nigel-named-sky-bet-manager-of-the-month-1344121.aspx Lets kick the 'curse' into touch. ALF got POTM.
Hi Macca! Massive game for you this weekend, think you can take the 3 points? How are you feeling about relegation now? Thought you were a sure thing for survival, but now I'm not so sure!
As you say, not surprising at all. We aren't going to carry on winning forever, and will obviously lose a game soon. We could lose to Watford this weekend, but it wouldn't be because NP got MOTM.
I personally think a draw at best. In terms of relegation, I do think there are 3 teams worse than us atm, but I'm not ruling anything out. I'd be happy to finish 17th on GD.
Yeah Sunderland are doing well at the moment. To be honest, anyone from Aston Villa downwards could go down. I would say that Fulham will be taking one of those spots. The other two are anybodies guess... You would think West Ham would pull themselves out of it. Crystal Palace are doing well under Pulis, I think he could keep them up. It's exciting for the neutral anyway
