With all Pater Damages arguments, it could only be Adel's wishes, if Damage and you say he is soooo fantastic, its obvious he is far, far too good for the the Championship, Harry never had a chance of keeping a Champions League player in the Championship. So how could Harry even if he wanted to keep him, ever be plausible ? And why should a Champions League player play in the championship...daft idea
There are a few on here who despise Ronaldo cos of his image and his ´alleged´ off-field demeanour. I personally think he can be a bit of a tw@t as well but I would never question his dedication to his trade, he is a superstar yet he trains tirelessly and puts 200% in every game. He may not be liked by his fellow pros´who knows, but he does the business time after time at every level (Portugal vs Sweden anyone?). He has a TOP attitude and is even better than when he was at Manure, he has evolved. Can you put Abdul (just for you 999´s) in the same category as him??? NO he has regressed!!! - jajajajaja he is light years away from Ronaldo, why?.....cos his attitude stinks. But now maybe because he thinks he is where he belongs (Milan) he might change and make an effort....don´t hold your breath.
You could be right Dens, but you also need self-discipline and he has shown that he lacks that essential thus far.
The clue here again is that at the time of the debate whether he would play for QPR in the championship only a few of us realised that Adel had the skill and ability to play in the Champions league with one of Europe's biggest clubs. Mr Damage has made brilliant points here I do not know whether we both think he is soooooo fantastic collectively ... they are your words. Maybe it's best to focus on time and how events stick and fit within timescales rather than cherry picking what you see fit to build a decent argument. I respect your view that you don't believe Adel is a very good player and a failure at Premiership level. I believe of course he does have the skill on the pitch to become a world class player ... that won't change if he scores a hatrick first game with Milan or gets sent off .. I have faith in him ... Off the pitch I don't have a lot of time for any footballer as I believe they are on the whole daft as a brush and He has been a tosser. I only watch football on the pitch if i am honest and I am as a QPR fan very proud we have had a player like Adel Taarabt I see Harold has now gone on record as wishing Adel well at AC Milan but added he couldn't get into the Fulham team ... see what he done there?. Before the Burnley game he knew nothing about Adel and AC Milan and now after the event he is able to remember.
Never ever said those words - Not only the King of Cherry-picking, the Crown Prince of False accusations !!
And that is all I have ever said, his application, immaturity, lack of professionalism, call it what you want, all have the potential to ruin his talent. And are the sole reason why he did not do better at Fulham, particularly under two Dutch managers
Somehow he might find the pace of Italian football more to his liking, I think the Premier League was too quick for him...
I stand by exactly what I said. Do you think that if he messes up this chance an even bigger club will come in for him? I think that this is "last chance saloon" at hitting the really big time. I have not said that he will fail - good luck to the guy, I have not said that he doesn't have the talent - but my point is valid and doesn't deserve the "thicko" award that Peter "Superior" Damage gives me.
you could say the premiership was too much of an effort for most if not all our players still its always nice to have a whipping boy
