I went to nearly all home games and quite a few aways and other than a kick up the arse by some villa fans once, never experienced. I had a ticket for the game but got flu the day before.

i was 14 when it happened so was still to young for me to go to big games sadly.

my old man went to the 86 and 89 cup final but didn't pay or invite me as well the ****!!

i used to have a beer before the match and i was only 14, may have been before then, but my old man is an alcie so who knows, don't think it was as bad as made out.

G, you haven't a clue what you're talking about with that statement mate. A few bevvies before the match was exactly the same then as it is now. You didn't need dutch courage that day due to hooliganism as we outnumbered them dramatically.

Yeah. It was too short notice to move it on to anyone. We got a call that evening (I was married by this time) and it was an old girlfriend from Uni checking I was OK. Even my Mrs (the cow) thought it was a lovely thing to do.

I was going to go. My sister-in-law lived about half a mile away so we were planning on having a weekend with her but I couldn't get a ticket. So I spent the first part of that afternoon looking at the house that we now live in and deciding if we were going to put in a bid.

From the Echo article, my highlights:
Does that make sense to anyone? Is it relevant, or is it not? If it's not relevant to the deaths or the cause of the disaster, then what relevance does it have to an inquest into the causes of the disaster. Why even bring it up, if not to try, once again to impugn the character of the victims and shift the blame again?

Difficult to understand what is being said there. Possibly that the spectators (i.e those that where witness to the events but not killed) alcohol levels are relevant as it changes there perception of events? No idea. Odd sentence structure.

sounds to me like a sly way of getting the information in without raising suspicion to the why and relevance to the case ,and putting doubt in peoples mind.

    ****s!

Exactly, it's saying we''re not targeting the deceased but if their blood alcohol levels can be argued to be representative of the crowd as a whole then we can make up and argument blaming drunkenness on the crush not the inaction or wrong action of the police officers in charge." Disgrace.

Fine, first question. What did the blood alcohol level of the ten year old boy tell you and how it contributed to gate decision making?

Let them do it, it shows they (people in question) haven't learned and haven't taken any personal responsibility for their actions. This should be taken into account at sentencing in the small chance that they're convicted of anything.

They are sticking to the already disproved story that drunken Liverpool supporters and forced the gates that led to the deaths, its all they've got saint, but considering the Taylor report and the independent inquiry studied all available evidence before reaching their conclusion/verdict the SYC can't just pull new video evidence out of the hat because they've already supplied all there is, but whereas in the past these ****s never faced questions from lawyers and barristers they'll be ripped to pieces during the new inquests.

It's essentially a Scouse board and if we say Notts then that's fair enough. BTW we have a mixture of names for that other other club but I've never heard Pineapple and Crapefruit FC before - I think you made that up you little pixie you :emoticon-0116-evilg
