Billy this is just my opinion - I think McDermott is a poor manager, a great bloke but I would have personally sacked him a few weeks back so I personally don't care if Cellino sacks him. We have zero stability and an uncertain future as things stand so stability claims wash straight over my head, anyone who feels we have that now is on a different wave length to me. I don't care what party Haigh supports, I dislike him because he has failed in his job at Leeds. He has lied to fans on twitter with what we can expect and that the new purchase of the club was delayed as they were waiting for the FL to okay it, he is a liar. Transparency was a word used by Haigh and the Leeds board, I didn't call for it, they promised it, I just like pointing out that we have none but then I already said Haigh is a liar so I should not be surprised.
Lads you are in catch 22 if Cellino buys the club you will suffer a long and painful execution, But if he doesnt you could be gone next month. So unless some knight in shinny armour comes to your rescue Cellino is by far you better option, as things stand. You never know he may have changed
I would've accepted this, I still woulda thought it was the wrong decision but if he was sacked on football terms I could've at the very understood the decison, fact is it wasn't based on footballing decisions at all. You jsut need to read Cellino's interview directly after the sacking to know that. Basing it off the past and what he has done at Cagliari. The fact there has already been mass protests towards him and chants against his name, the controversy he brings, the amazing amount of lies he has already told which means he will continue in that vein I would assume, the overall extreme nature of Leeds United fans, the way fans reacted towards Bates. And then i also don't think Cellino will put any money into the playing staff whatsoever, it wouldn't surprise me if he backs out of buying Elland Road and Thorp Arch given the fact he is a downright liar, the constant changing of managers will cause instability and a slide down the football league. I think a combination of all these things will cause the crowd to slowly get smaller and smaller, ofcourse just my opinion but its happened to him before.
I still don't think the threat of admin is real, they wouldn't have acted like they did in January if it was
Mighty, obviously Cellino is in this to make money, to make money he's gonna need some success. and success starts with aiming for the riches of the Prem, if he thinks he can come in and just rape the club like those before him he's in for a shock, we've had enough, if he does take over and he doesn't make a change sharpish it doesn't bear thinking about what could happen. I'm already up for a ****ing riot
I don't really like tv series but life on mars was good, As was breaking bad, can't comment on any more cos they bore me ****less. This eyetie maybe wants to make money, not the best choice really,he should stick to selling animal feed and flour. Maybe he's in it to be proud to own a football club? Reminds me a lot of Jesus GIl y GIl who used to own atletico de madrid.
Good point. If he was looking for a club to rape, I think there would be better bets than Leeds. We've nothing left to pillage, a couple of players you could get money for, no training ground or stadium so not a lot to lose

Watched an interview on the BBC with an Italian sports reporter on Monday and they said just the opposite. Said he was mainly liked/loved by the fans, but because of his maverick attitude the people that didn't like him, really hated him, and were very vocal. But they were in the minority.
ristac, understood, can't blame you if your sights were set on promotion this season ... regarding Haigh, he didn't lie about the takeover being done, GFH in Bahrain did because at the last minute they pulled out and went with Cellino, which is why Flowers went ballistic and made the statement about them basically cheating SC out of their deal, and this after so much money had been pumped in by SC and Haigh ... the key point is that GFH in Bahrain are fundamentally flawed, their behaviour has not been in the best interests of our club and the one good thing to come out of this will be them gone ... look, Bates made sure he twisted the knife one more time by selling to GFH, because he knew how weak they were, except he misread Haigh, a genuine Leeds supporter who promptly stuck the boot into Bates and his cronies, ridding us of that disease ... maybe the shafting of SC is payback from GFH for Haigh dumping Bates on his arse outside ER, after all Bates is suing GFH to get his presidency back (which means a payout) ... Haigh broke from GFH to form SC and buy the club, pumped money in along with Flowers, had an agreement in place and got knifed between the shoulder blades by the Boys from Bahrain ... then when Cellino went mental on Friday after GFH had reached an agreement with him, GFH decided to meet with Together Leeds to see if a deal was possible there, once again breaking a promise ... now of course it seems GFH have finally painted themselves in a corner, and they clearly don't give a fcuk who they sell to, and that is my concern ... no thought given to the long term future of our club, just their own pockets ... we now know that Haigh's bosses always only wanted to keep us for a year before selling, the stupid fools ... Cellino I would normally welcome, but by god, his behaviour on Friday was farcical, without any integrity and makes you worry for our club ... I will gather my thoughts and write a calmer piece on Cellino should he get the club, but the presence of Festa at ER on its own is a diabolical start Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Xbpod ... I bet that reporter is in Cellino's pocket, because that is the nature of Italian football ... he is so pig headed that when he didn't get his way with Cagliari Council regarding the stadium, he moved the club 1000kms away out of spite ... wow, really cares about the fans doesn't he? Fair comments Billy my heart wasn't set on promotion, more the signings, formation, team selection and results why I feel Brian should go. About a year ago I thought Someone on here linked to Haigh cheering on or supporting Man U in his earlier days unless it was a photo shop edit from one of the Millwall lads, wish I could find it again.
Same old same old, someone who lives and works in the country, on the topic, disagrees with the gossip on here so they must be in someone's pocket.
One of his first twitter quotes when he landed in Dubai was a reference to a scum win I believe. Haigh/Beeston Dave of course has now deleted this tweet.
Glad I wasn't imagining it, was looking for it everywhere, Haigh a genuine Leeds supporter, I don't think so...
I know of no banker anywhere who would turn his nose up from profit, Haigh is a banker and will always worship at the alter of money. He went to Bahrain to make money and can't be that good because he's working for a bank with no money and no customers, in fact he's a sham with a big vanity complex. Flowers may well be a Leeds fan but at the end of the day he should be bollocked by his board for wasting money on sponsoring Leeds utd and he's brought his company into disrepute. he's going to see the error of his ways now and it will be an expensive experience for him and his company. No Flowers was always in it wor profit and vanity too. Why would they want to get mixed up with a scouse gangster if it was a good prospect and sound investment opportunity? Fly by night scallies all
