If people want to stop Stubhub they need to vote with their feet. Arrange a match for everyone to Boycott. White Hart Lane 3/4 empty would soon get the management to change their mind.

In a way I'd love for that to happen, though admittedly I'd be part of the 1/4 that attended. I feel somewhat obliged to go to WHL these days lol. But I'd fully support those that wished to take action. WHL needs the real fans back, match days just aren't the same.

As much as I love watching Spurs live, I just don't enjoy the day out as much as I used too.

Sorry Sid, but I think you've been misinformed. Spurs don't have any influence over Twitter, so they'd only be able to get people's accounts closed if they're breaking some sort of rules.
They can't just get random social media sites to start booting off their members.

Stubhub's a joke, though. Touting should either be completely banned, which I would agree with, or anyone should be allowed to do it.
Picking one scalping organisation is ludicrous.

I know a couple of lads in the east lower who share a season ticket, they get another ticket off stub hub for every game at face value.
They reckon the trick is to leave it to the last possible moment when buying off stub hub as the ticket prices are all lowered.

I've never used stub hub to get rid of tickets, I refuse to make money out of our own.
I missed the City game last week and gave my ticket to one of the others in exchange for a couple of beers and a match programme.

Making money out of our own is wrong. Tottenham using stub hub is wrong, it's legalised touting.

    Completely agree.

That's why it's so infuriating that Spurs have started blocking those with cards/ tickets who sell their tickets via the Twitter page HotspurTickets. I've never seen one sold for over face value (not to say it hasn't though, just saying I've not seen it) and it gives fans a chance to get to know one another in case of future situations where someone has a spare/ can't make it. My cousin has used it several times to buy a ticket and has actually made a "friend" from it where he's so far travelled to two away games with a guy that sold him a ticket for the home game against Norwich earlier in the season. For what possible reason would Spurs want to stop this yet promote StubHub who allow others to exploit those desperate for a ticket for whatever reason? Makes no sense at all to me.

Yes I understand but I find it amazing that they keep closing this account down.
They are only protesting as far as I can see.

I'll try to have a look at the page when it's next active to see if I can find out how it's being closed down. <ok>

Edit: Just had a quick browse and apparently it was banned for spamming. The duplicate account was banned for being a duplicate account, rather unsurprisingly.

if that's true, words cannot describe how bad that is. wow.

sorry if anyone's already said this, but the second "enic out" account (ENIC__OUT) has also been shut down.

here's a link to the blog that was made with the main concerns: http://enicout.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/so-first-post.html?m=1

If anyone wants to post it as a new thread, feel free.

This is the latest text taken from the blog update, which is in response to both accounts being shut down. - http://enicout.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/was-it-something-i-said.html?m=1

" Was it something I said?
    So that was fun.

Account one ENIC_OUT was blocked 5 times in 24 hours and closed in 40. Reasoning being I posted to multiple followers.

Account two ENIC__OUT was closed within 20 hours without warning or any reasoning.

Well done THFC. Again really listening, really understanding the issues. Bully not tactics, under hand snidey work as we've come to be accustomed with.

I'd say that for those saying the club don't monitor things such as twitter, Facebook, blogs or private forums. Think again.

Some of the biggest and best of them such as COYS or SC both 'work' (get told by the club what they can't and can post. Fact is, and this is fact, is the club threaten to close them down if they don't play ball.

See what your up against. Maybe we should all get those North Korea flags out in Sunday? It'll feel like being at home.

Another account coming soon, or maybe I'll just say who I am and wait to be turfed out my seat for being there. "

Account gets set up and spams other Twitter accounts, gets blocked and then banned. Blame ENIC.

Blatant duplicate of a banned account gets set up and duly banned. Damnit ENIC's at it again! <grr>

ENIC can't do anything without getting the blame, even when they're not doing anything it's their fault :D

Been told there is a pub near Glasgow Central that a few Spurs fans go to on matchdays, so might check that out soon.

Watching on my own on TV isn't enjoyable.
