Dev and I shall be offering this particular beverage on the occasion of our wedding as soon as the Scottish Government ratify the law on gay marriage passed overwhelming in the parliament yesterday . You are all welcome to attend the nuptials but please , no peach outfits as you will clash with the bride .
I used to drink bitter, but switched to premium lager a few years ago. More bang for your buck. John Smiths is horrible. Tetleys and Worthies were usually my ale of choice, or Calders in the few places that sold it.
No alcohol has passed my lips for almost four years. I used to drink twenty pints of lager and a bottle vodka per day. And I was on forty to fifty smokes a day. I was running from my demons for fifteen years. I was a drunken, diabetic ****. Now I'm just a diabetic ****.
Thanks for that, aldo. I appreciate your kind sentiments. The level of consumption increased steadily from when I started drinking at the age of fourteen. I was homeless at sixteen, and I used to steal booze from supermarkets to get me through the night. My OCD and general anxiety disorders got worse after I found somewhere to live, and it was from then that I ramped up the levels of addiction. Still, I must be a delusional **** to imagine anyone is even remotely interested.
I consider myself lucky that i've never been that interested in booze. I drink occasionally but i'm practically teetotal.
Well for a homeless person suffering such a debilitating syndrome as OCD it's probably fortunate that you were furnished with the disposable income that allowed you to purchase twenty pints and a bottle of vodka a day . Nevermind the constitution of an elephant to allow you to consume such an extreme amount of liquid with an alcohol content that is very probably fatal And for 15 years too ! Kudos to you .
As detailed in my last post, my alcohol consumption increased over time. The last few years of my drinking were the worst, and I did actually consume monstrous amounts per night. When I was homeless, I would steal cans of cider and small bottles of rum, brandy and vodka. I am now diabetic, I have a ****ed up spleen, and I have been in and out of therapy for the last ten years. But that's life, eh?
I am probably what would be considered a functioning alcoholic. Swally most nights after work, mostly beer though. Only really don't when I have the nippers over Friday nights with the odd Saturday thrown in. I love a gargle me
