You sure you're not English? Let's knock ambition (though even I will admit it's ambition verging on fantasy....or is it, he's at AC Milan FFS!).
Not at all. I merely read it as praise he's giving his new Club as most players do when joining a new Club. The quote is that the 3 English clubs are good Clubs, but Milan are more organised and professional. If I should read anything much at all into the reference to QPR - he is saying we are as good as 2 PL Clubs, one of whom Spurs are definetely at a level somewhere above where we have been the last few years. So insulted? No!
Firstly im absolutely NOT Taarabts hater. Im fonding of the memories of him being big part of our promotion season. I also remember him being MoM in our first win of the 2012-13 season against Fulham which match i witnessed with satisfaction. I also remember him scoring couple beautiful goals during our two seasons in the premier league. Then again i remember his lazyness during the big part of our premier league time. Im also inclined to belive that Taarabt wasnt the best person to improve the team spirit. I cant understand why you slate harold for kicking some unmotivated (including Adel)players out of QPR. You can slate harold for playing negative style of football but you can not blame him for a lack of team spirit during this season. The team was in terrible state after hughes and it hasnt be easy to harold for sorting it out. I just personally think that we have better chace to succeed this season without Taarabt than with him. Warnock was due to big part of Taarabts success during our promotion season. Now in italy he needs same kind of mentor with him to survive more easily. Still stranger things has happen so who knows.... If you indicated me and the barton thread with you comments i just want point out to you that Barton is a very much QPR player at the time while Taarabt is not.
Portrait of a flawed genius? Sounds like someone from on here perhaps left this comment under this video clip? hundreds100 2 months ago - "To all those who thinks he is good, he has a terrible ****ing attitude and has spent most of his carrier sulking and bitching about how he is too good for spurs and QPR. **** this guy."
Igor, nothing I write will ever merit you or anyone else putting that much energy into a response. Its just a laugh mate. I take it you disagree.
No worry mate just practising my bad english. Of course i agree to disagree or what hell it would be...now im just confusing a bit
Adel Taarabt compares himself to Mario Balotelli at AC Milan please log in to view this image http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26056170 Adel Taarabt has described himself as the "Balotelli of Morocco" after joining former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli at AC Milan. The 24-year-old midfielder, who spent the first half of the campaign at Fulham, is on loan with the Rossoneri from QPR until the end of the season. "I thought 'they've got the Italian Balotelli and now they're going to have the Balotelli of Morocco'," he said. "I can't wait to get to know Balotelli better and to become his friend." Taarabt has scored seven goals in 79 Premier League appearances, compared to Balotelli's record of 20 in 54 top-flight games during his time at Etihad Stadium. However, like 23-year-old Balotelli, he has had several high-profile disagreements with managers. After being substituted at half-time when QPR were 3-0 down away to Fulham in October 2011, Taarabt left the ground early as his side slid to a 6-0 defeat. He retired from international football in June 2011 after a disagreement with then-Morocco coach Eric Gerets. before reversing his decision four months later. But Taarabt denies that he will cause any problems for Clarence Seedorf, who is only a few weeks into his first coaching job after taking on the AC Milan role in January. "I haven't got a difficult character. Perhaps some find it hard to accept direct and sincere people," said Taarabt. "I'm really the complete opposite. I like to joke and this can be misinterpreted." Taarabt could make his debut for Milan, who are 10th in Serie A, in their away match against Napoli on Saturday.
For sheer talent he is right up there. I too am convinced he can become a great player but needs the right manager and in all probability agent and advisors too!
I lived for QPR and my true hero is of course Dave Thomas That era was IMO our finest moment Stan a legend but as lazy Marsh the same I followed Zidane and he made me shiver as that's how the game should be played or that's what a footballer should do ... I love expression and have hated the typical English game since having played myself in France a bit ... It just my opinion When a player stops the game and controls it with magic that is what I am used to I hate the mentality of the average English supporter now who by being English thinks they own the game We don't and lost it years ago to superior oversea players Taarabt represented everything I love about the game as did Zidane Tracking back ... Keep it tight etc etc The game has changed but English supporters haven't English players have had to adapt to adapt to a superior skill set My football is all about flair and possibly why I was draw to QPR as a child Taarabt is flair and has given me my best times as a QPR supporter a real promise of watching a superstar I don't like and agree with other posters idea of football and I don't think its QPR I am not wrong I am not right It's just my opinion Free crass panda gifs are not for me either we are all different it's a great world I care passionately about QPR and what we are about to become
Fair enough DT but Taarabt and Zidane in the same sentence....? Have you drink too much of that cheap french wine By the way im not english.
Believe it or not I see aspects of Zidane in Taarabt's game ... Anyone on here watched Zidane at a young age ? Boy he was lazy
Oh boy you really see football differently than me. Yes i watched Zidane when he was young. He was never that lazy and was much more determined with his playing. You saw from quite early that he was going to be a great player.
Zidane has a better headbutt, oh yeah he could play in World Cup finals and Champs League finals for top teams and score in them
Well whatever your opinion it's fair to say it be interesting to watch him maybe progress . He has made his mark on our club whichever way you look at it . Sort of closure at last as agree very much doubt if he will be in hoops again . Exhausted the subject? Of course we have but he made the stage I always believed he could He only needs one spark of magic on this stage and the hype will cut in ... That will only push people to deny his genius even harder ... He sees things very much differently on the pitch ... I see that but if course you can have the view I am deluded If we had to pick our favourite current players of course we wouldn't agree Hazard of Chelsea Ratboy of the pool Ribery etc etc All came from somewhere to become gods
DT see aspects of Zidane in Adels game...so do I Problem is I also see aspects of Mike Sheron too......
