8th February 2014 St Mary's Stadium, 3pm kick off Match officials: Referee: Craig Pawson Assistants: S Ledger and P Bankes 4th Official: D Whitestone Form guide: Southampton: Fulham 0-3 Southampton Southampton 2-2 Arsenal Southampton 2-0 Yeovil Sunderland 2-2 Southampton Southampton 1-0 West Brom Southampton 4-3 Burnley Saints are now unbeaten in 6 games in all competitions, their last loss coming on New Year's Day with the 3-0 loss at home to Chelsea. Saints home record this season is won 5, drawn 4 and lost 3. Stoke City: Stoke City 2-1 Manchester United Sunderland 1-0 Stoke City Chelsea 1-0 Stoke City Crystal Palace 1-0 Stoke City Stoke City 3-5 Liverpool Stoke City 2-1 Leicester City Stoke have won just one in their last 7 Premier League games, and 2 games in their last 9 games in all competitions. Stoke's away record in the Premier League this season is won 1, drawn 2 and lost 9, with a goal difference of -17. Team news: Saints without Lovren and Ramirez but all other first team players available. Cork may return to the starting line up after Wanyama was replaced at half time against Fulham. Stoke have all of their first team players available as far as I'm aware. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Prediction: Saints to continue their good form with a 2-0 win, with goals from a Rickie Lambert penalty and Rodriguez.
Stoke look hard to score against, letting in only one goal in 5 of the last 6 games. We'll have to make a real effort to score early or I can see a 0-0.
That's a nice little unbeaten run we've quietly put together. That should continue on Saturday, I'll go for a 1-0 home win (we may need to be patient)..
Stoke has just one goal in their past six away matches while shipping fourteen. They are utterly toothless away from Britannia, and we should be winning comfortably.
Putting the cup games into the form guide is a bit cheaty. Still, would expect a win seeing as we're at home.

I can see this game following the same script as the WBA game last month. A real battle and a hard fought (sometimes literally remembering it's the Stoke thugs) 1-0 victory. Not expecting much entertainment for my money, just 3 points...that will do me!
Got my tickets, I can tell you for one I am stoked! I just hope some fans turn up. I want a good atmosphere.
My third least favourite game this se3ason ... so not looking forward to it. I miss the Liverpool game because I'm in the US with work... why o why couldn't that have been this game instead?
