Championship level tho not prem level! His style would kill us. Plus ML record was much better just he lost the dressing room because he was undermined by the director Huw Jenkins. This season we still have gone through to the knockout stage of Europa league and sustained a better league position than you with an extra game in mid week and having at least 9 starting players being injured for the majority of the season. Now we're being managed by a player and coach who knows the system inside out and will galvanize the team. Having all our players back from injury will be a big boost also. Mankey was **** with a bigger budget I would never want to see him manage us. And I can't wait to watch us piss all over you lot when we see you next!
About 10 seconds in fella. That's all I need.
Leave the lad alone, that's one of the wittiest usernames I've ever seen. swan_and_only ...... really clever that, had me laughing for ages
Who let Steve Bruce on here? The last line is awesome. Next time you meet us is at our place on the last day of the season. I wonder how the game at your place would've turned out if that dirty cheating diving bastard Chico had been sent off for 2 of his 4 reckless tackles at nil nil!
"Plus ML record was much better just he lost the dressing room because he was undermined by the director Huw Jenkins." You can just see the players turning against a manager they like & respect because of some director can't you "Now we're being managed by a player and coach who knows the system inside out and will galvanize the team." That's Welsh for, "I'm ****ting myself that we'll get pasted in the derby against Cardiff."
Too right smug... In fact it's surprising that they even listen to Huw "I'll not properly read the contract and just spout what I think is true" Jenkins after his "we can recall ki any time up until 31st January" comment!!! No you can't you imbecile!, you really should read those things. My opinion, Laudrupp was the best manager they've ever had. The only one to get them into Europe but struggled due to the European games (Newcastle fans will second that re Europa). He won. Them their only ever major trophy and gets sacked less than a year later. Kudos! A team would rarely back a director over their manager
John Hartson on the beeb today strongly recommending Swans take Ki back for next season. I'd be absolutely gutted. Just gotta hope we offer too much to refuse or the player forces through the move. The fear is he's being noticed and is good enough for a top team anywhere in Europe.
Loanees who come here, shine, then go back when their loan period expires is a regular occurrence with us. I wouldn`t be at all surprised if it happens again. Neither would I be at all surprised if Gus wasn`t well prepared either way.
I was wondering why you have, "I support the best team in The World,THE PREMIER CLUB IN WALES,and you can call me VETCH," then have a Swansea badge in your avatar. Surely some contradiction. BTW, at the moment you might want to use a more appropriate Edmund Burke quotation after the Cardiff match, "Applaud us when we run, console us when we fall, cheer us when we recover."
How on earth he was seen as better than Ki I w ill never know. And this included lads on your forum early doors as well!
Well thankfully we didn't pay the 7million for him last summer and only got him on another loan, which means that he will be gone in the summer thank ****, which means (in a perfect world) Ki can slot back into our midfield where he should be However, should we sell him to you guys, how much would you value him at, considering we paid £5million for him at Celtic.
I'd be comfortable paying up to £12million, seriously, but as he's entering the last year of his deal I'd imagine closer to £8million is realistic.
