Just read that Pellegrini is the 11th longest serving manager in the league, he only joined in June!!!
It's the 'curse of the cup'. In recent years the winners have gone on a slump immediately afterwards. Even we hit a run of poor form after we won it. Swanseas has been a long run though. Hoping city win it this year.! Remember when BR left and laudrup came in, all the **** the Swansea fans gave us telling us how laudrup was sooo much better than the guy who got them in the prem. well it's silent now!
Kind of emphasises my point about BR on another thread and the fact that he's only been here a year and half which when you compare to other managers seems a long time but in reality it really isn't.
Surely Meulensteen has to be next. Can't see Fulham scoring a goal, let alone winning a game. Struggling at home to League 1 Sheff United at the moment.
Laudrup had a massive issue in the summer and keeps declining contract offers, clearly doesn't want to carry so best to get in someone who will motivate them like Tim Sherwood has done. Monk is Swansea through and through, this derby is going to be massive.
Gotta be a record this year right? You look at Rene, Moyes, Hughton, Big Sam, Lambert, Bruce, there are still quite a few who could face the ax!
http://www.leaguemanagers.com/managers/longest-current.html look at this; average stay 1.85 years. things are simply ridiculous now. how can anyone build anything and why should anyone try to develop youth with this sillyness going on.
Sky Sports News‏@SkySportsNews·3 mins Fulham appoint Felix Magath as First Team Manager . More on #SSN EDIT: Itchy fingers at Fulham it seems!!!! Plus let Rene have a whole transfer window and then let go of him? Strange!
I'd be interested to see Fergie return and take over... ... Fulham. I'm just curious how he'd do moving into that role.
This is unbelievable. 2 decent results against us and manure and he's sacked! Hope they get relegated now. Bloody owners deserve it.
Ludicrous decision - I know they haven't achieved the results to get them out of trouble, but surely the world and his wife could see the way they were battling against us and the mancs - just don't get chairmen sometimes.
