    ...... now let's see.

Is he a good judge of a footballer ?

Gillett, ElAbd, W Elliot for instance - That tells me he's mad as a hatter.

He goes on about continuity - reality - changes personnel and formations like deckchairs on the Titanic.
WTF did Pack do wrong against Carlisle to be dropped, Or Burns when he came on.

Press conferences and comments ? - Sorry but he's daft as a brush. Cotterill is simple, end of.

Our Board are gullible in the extreme to employ him after SOD, the worst in living memory.

    We've had it chaps.

He talks the talk and is enthusiastic

However on the pitch the team do not mirror his enthusiasm, make stupid mistakes game after game despite being highly paid (compared to most of us) professionals, and I agree, we've had it. I just dont see us being able to put a string of wins together which is what's needed now.

Look around this board redprintt and you will notice that a lot of folks are joining the same bandwagon of despair. Nothing I hear or read about Bristol City will convince me that we have the fight or the players to avoid relegation and we are starting to hear the same positive nonsense from the manager that we heard last year and the year before. Suppose if you get the job without competitive interviews then you are annointed rather than appointed and that says it all about the business plan down in BS3.

How many pillars are left standing after the weather last night?

I couldn't make it to the game last night due to M4 motorway being closed. On BCFC SC says that we played enough football to win the game? reports from someone at game says that we were dire in first half, and things got a little better with introduction of Burns. So was he seeing a different game to SC?
What have we got to lose by starting with Wes Burns? at least it would give us some pace down the flanks?
I do so want to give a new manager a chance but are we getting the same old same old?

Let's hope he doesn't descend to blaming the supporters ala Buckle.

I give it six months, and we'll be calling for someone that talks less **** with a proven record of doing well at a struggling club.

    The circle of life.

In defence of Wade Elliott we've only briefly seen him so can't really judge him to be fair.

Adam what ever his name his came from a team who moved off the ball but don't see him as a RB

I saw a different game to SC as he said we deserved a point. I thought we only played well when Burns came on.

He did explain that playing the last four games on pitches to give you trench foot is difficult on their legs to play all the time. JET is ok as he don't or won't run.

No player coming here to a team on the brink of div 4 is going to be to everyone's taste. Plus we ain't this massive club that some think will attract certain players. So our picking's are reduced.

To me the players are stuck in SoD warp and want to play tippy tappy across the back line with no movement. If you don't see what I mean watch a throw in to us it's the same everyone plays musical statues so perhaps we ought to put music on so the ****ers know to move.

We might as well give the ball to the opposition from throw ins as we are crap at them. We also seem incapable of breaking quickly, may be due to lack of pace or footballing brain, but it appears teams can come to the gate and within two or three passes are on the edge of our box whereas, normally we take an age to get upfield. Even though SC talks about playing at a high tempo! Does that mean hoofing the ball up.
Anyone thought of putting JET in midfield cos have seen him pick out some great crossfield balls?

Maybe he was the wrong appointment, only time will tell, what concerns me was that he was the only contender for the job and they didn't even interview him apparently. I think Gillet is alright, El Abd is dreadful and I'm not sure about W Elliot yet. Would definitely like to see him start burns and keep consistency by allowing good performers to start the next game (if there are any.

I've often wondered about JET being put in midfield myself redexile but he would probably throw a hissy fit and demand a transfer. Something drastic would be better than the current rubbish on show down there. Dare to be different for once Bristol City because in case you haven't noticed the current crap is just that - crap!

The side is better under Cotterill - I have to admit that when the appointment was made I was uncertain, but I've been relatively impressed with what I have seen/heard so far.

We are in the middle of 6 games in 17 days - some rotation is nessesary

2/1/14. The above was correct 5 weeks ago.
Since then he's gone to pot.

Unfotunately for me I was at the game last night.
First half we WERE dire. Coventry looked a different class and had movement
and pressed when we had the ball - we didn't. Looked like they could stroll past us (especially
El Abd) whenever they liked and were taking the p***.

We only started to look in it when Burns came on. Pack was a magnet for the long
high balls when he came on too. The fact that we had a strong wind against us in
the first half and a slightly less strong one behind in the 2nd may have contributed
slightly. I fear JET is on borrowed time and will get more stick the longer he doesn't
produce another super strike. Looks a shadow of the player he was when SOD was
here. His demise looks inevitable to me.

I was never on the fence - to me SC is a caveman when it comes to tactics
and his only asset is he comes across better than SOD with the media. His signings
are taking us backwards. When did we last sign someone whose club actually wanted
to keep them? We are just picking up players who can't get a game for whatever reason
and the result is a collection of cast-offs that unsurprisingly struggle to play anything
resembling football. We may have got a point on our last 20 minute performance but
as a team Coventry looked way ahead of us and sadly I think SC will take us down
as he can't spot a decent player or fit what we have into a cohesive unit.

I don't want him to fail but I can't convince myself on the evidence that he will do
    anything else.

    ADicks - 3/12/13.
'Ok i will wait for his first team sheet, to see if he's any use.
What kind of silly statement is that, what your actually saying is if he dosen't pick the team you would pick, he's useless, beggars belief'

AD - Have I ever been wrong ?
