Sadly genius does not always come with other desirable attributes but sometimes the genius outweighs them.
Fair comment but for me the baggage of Pietersen outweighed his positives. I do, however, appreciate that the public is probably split down the middle on this and it's understandable. Now let's change the subject quickly before the treacherous little bugger splits the Watford forum as well
I hate the residency rule. Sure it's given us some decent rugby and cricket players but it's tantamount to cheating in my book.
Whilst undoubtably an absolute quality cricketer on his day, unfortunately he thought himself bigger than the team he played for. My support for him went out of the window during the Ashes debacle when he went on record to say that he would bat how he wanted to and not how the team he played for (it's not his country) NEEDED him to play. When he needed to do a Boycott and stay in for a couple of days, he chose not to....bye bye, been nice knowing you.
I have to share this post from the Swansea board tonight, you will enjoy http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/249025-Laudrup-Sacked?p=6040014&viewfull=1#post6040014
Bloody 'ell lap dog, no wonder you are are on here at 04.00 in the morning if you spend all night on the sheep lovers board.
I hope Mr Fernandez' plans for a new stadium include a very large creche. Going by the output of the Steptoes who invaded the Swansea board it is likely to be the most populated part of the ground.
As somebody said if its just on form as they said then the whole team needs dumping! Clearly just a clash of egos and minds - but they waited till the first bad run of results. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what has happened at Swansea actually.
I believe his mother is English - he qualified that way. He should have gone before Strauss in my opinion. Genius performances only get you so far - team performances get you much further.
I hope the new coach asks for KP back! I look forward to Kevin's version of events in due course too, he can't wait to tell us I bet!
Hardly a 'fair' criterion for qualifying - try using that to get a British passport and see how far it gets you...
I do not have a British passport but can get in because of the Schengen Agreement, can I play. Also I have no idea what you are talking of so I must be a success.
Do you really want to represent England at sport, or would you rather represent the country of your birth?
Interesting development here with West Ham. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26039222 Will we see refs going before the courts to explain their actions? Will the people who try to protect the officials have to explain why they took the view they did? This could open a whole can of worms even if the process is already in place.
The red card looked wrong and Flores' reaction was disgraceful but if this becomes a legal case it would raise a lot of issue if successful. The refs have a hard enough time without being required to justify themselves in court every time a rich club or a club in trouble thinks they have been on the wrong end of a decision. There are enough things in football currently which could eventually lead to serious disaffection. This is something which would be unlikely to enhance its reputation.
http://www.marcobellinazzo.com/ Looks like the only interested party in buying the Weeds is the Italian Conman. This should test the FA and their stance on 'fit and proper persons'.
