The boy Michael Woods at Chelsea rings a bell!!! Looks as though his choice of clubs wasn't the best!! Didn't we get £5 million compensation for him and someone else??
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2011/jun/16/out-of-work-elveven-daniel-taylor?CMP=twt_gu Not sure how realistic a target he'd be, but Pantsil would be a great buy.
Lets have Michael Woods back.... we got decent compo for him so 'that al learn em'. I would have Veira.... and well loads of them actually
He's trying too hard now. The best WUMs are subtle and slightly self-depracating but Que's losing his rag a bit and going overboard.
i know we wont but Reo Coker - DM experienced and would do a job Tamir Cohen - defo CB Zenden - maybe not 100% JL Samuel - LB yes indeed quick and can tackle Joey Obrien again could do the DM job Parnaby - experienced and fits the DM role
On £30kpw+ and will get picked up by a Premiership club. He would be an ideal target though, agreed. He's a CM, but definitely a player I'd like to see at Leeds. Doubt he's on huge wages having always been a bit-part player at Bolton after being in the Israeli league. Move fast for him and I reckon we could get him on a three-year contract on about £12k a week. Worthwhile, I'd say. He'd be good, but according to Sunderland fans we'd only get about 25 games out of him. He'd be a huge game changer though, play him in the tough away fixtures and it would pay off. Isn't he a rightback? As for Jlloyd Samuel, can't say I've ever seen very much of him. He was on loan at Cardiff last season though so he's obviously willing to drop to Championship level. Maybe he is the man for us.
Quote from his wiki page... under newly appointed Villa boss David O'Leary, he rose to become one of the best left-backs in the Premier League and was selected in the England squad for the game against Sweden, i was worried i was wrong about him...but im not but im wrong about tamir ... the worry thing about the quote ! OLeary
Brown- back up GK Cohen- much needed CM, good battler Vieria- could get a good year out of him (never gunna happen) Spector- very versatile which would help the squad
Itsa, it was Woods & Taiwo. Neither played a single game for Chelsea. One wonders if they'll wander back all sheepish & ask to be let back in the fold. I'd go for Upson meself. Think the lad might just scrape into our back 4!!
A fit owen hargreaves would be a belting coup! DM player. very good on the ball. Would be class!! Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurt, he may be too injury prone to take on. Dont panic though. Because as the media are suggesting, were after injury prone players, i believe im onto a winner
