We have 4 center forwards to select from, plus the chance that we'll sign another for next season, how many goals do you think they will all score next season, providing there fully fit. Becchio - 10 ( fans and managers favourite, will play all games if fit ) Paynter - 4 ( Loved by Grayson, will likely be the second choice striker ) McCormack - 6 ( Rated by fans, will play half of the games, likely to play up front with BP ) Somma - 8 ( Super sub should be super starter, will feature in a bit part role again tho ) Last season result Becchio - 19 ( played pretty much every game, 37 starts) Paynter - 1 ( enough said ) McCormack - 1 ( Quiet all season but came to life late on, looks ok ) Somma - 12 ( 4th choice striker at one point, 6 goals as sub, 6 starting)
Somma will play on his own up front and score all the goals. He'll break all records and end up signing for Barcelona in a swap deal for Lionel Messi plus £80 million.
To be honest, it's a really tough question to answer when we don't know whether we'll have one man up front in a 4-2-3-1 or a partnership in a 4-4-2. Either way, I suggest Becchio will get 15+.
Somma wont score any at leeds. He may get a few a Morcombe as he is off on loan to get valuble playing experience
Feel like this is one of those trick questions on QI and the big red flashing lights and buzzers are going to come on. Because he's a winger?
True but that's not what the OP asked. I guess we can include wingers too. Is that OK Que? Better ask or he might get grumpy.
since Gradel and Snodgrass are both regular goalscorers, as well as Sam showing early promise, getting a few goals in the first games of the season, I think it would be sensible to include wingers.
My centre backs usually score a fair few on Football Manager, so can we include them too? Oh actually, how many own goals will O'Brien score? Given a full season, I reckon he could get into double figures.
Itsa, just started reading the first sentence of your first post. Good job I read the rest before replying. Quite cheered me up. But would Messi be able to cope with the cut & thrust of the championship? I mean, all those muddy pitches in the cold winter months. Nah, just give us the £80m, I say.
Not sure about all the others, but I can definitely see Paynter getting into double figures this season. He must have been soo peed off last season - top goal scorer the previous season, move to a big club, injury, took a while to get back into the side, & then only got 1 goal. He will be soo motivated to score a hatful. Watch this space
Lads dont forget howson his attacking role has practically had him playing behind becchio. If you were to to play the 4-2-3-1 formation you would see gradel - howson - snoddy all lined up. Can we have howson in there please??????
