Been watching this match for the last 20 minutes, and Foxy looks very comfortable at this level. The commentator wondered about his fitness to last the 90 minutes, having only played a few times for Saints this season. I guess he hasn't heard of Saints players general level of fitness.

I am very much the forgiving kind, but I don't think I will ever quite forgive Billy Bremner and Johnny Giles for the way they especially took the p!ss one Saturday in Elland Road against a Saints team.
I think even Jack Charlton has gone on record as saying he was actually embarrassed by it, because he realised that those two players were instrumental in trying to humiliate the Saints players.
When you play opposition in serious competition, however much better you are, you respect them. They had no honour at all, and it is attitudes like that which has tarnished that club ever since.

Saying that, it's a very difficult time for Leeds Utd. They are still paying a very heavy price indeed for their time in the Champions League, now quite a few years back. Do I feel sorry..? Hmm, no. I can't find the feeling. I'll spend all day feeling sorry for Coventry, but Leeds..? I can't be bothered. I feel sorry for their fans, but if that club went of existence I don't think I'd give it a second thought. I've slightly amazed myself that I have maintained that old grudge. It was effortless.

Ouch, that brings back painful memories. All part and parcel of being a Saints supporter?

I remember not wanting to go into work after that 7-0 game for about a week. My boss was a die hard Leeds fan, and I foolishly said we could get something. I suppose, in recent years, that 4-3 game they won at St Mary's comes to mind. 3-0 up with 20 mins to go. Disaster.

I am not that old, I was 19 at the time. Before you guys think I am an old duffer.
