Awful game, not quite sure why I'm watching this, 0-0 after regular time, Sheff Utd actually had the better scoring opportunities but they couldn't finish - now the poor sods at Craven Cottage in the pouring rain have to sit through 30 more mins of extra time, going late into the evening with a tube strike on too.
Me too - I always root for the underdog, except when they're playing us. Based on Fulham's season since he came onboard, and performance in this match, you would think it would be Meulensteen up for the chop rather than Laudrup?
Holy **** they're crap! Have said all season they remind of us last season, at the moment I actually believe they are even topping us.
Fulham were obviously copying our tactics. they were terrible. I wouldn't say they are down yet. they've been about ten points off safety and survived. 2 hours of pain for one moment of hilarity.
I imagine that Alan Curbishley quite enjoyed the break from Fulham last Sunday reunited with Andy Townsend and Sir Les on TV analyst duty. He seemed a bit lost for words trying to explain their defensive lapses in their Sat 0-3 home loss to Saints.
but Fulham could have won them. just seen the stats, 35 shots from both teams, 5 on target. that is terrible.
