I would like to see Zola come in, he's doing very well at Watford, is a genuine guy who is very humble who will work well with our board, and plays the game the right way, he was never treated right at West Ham!................<ok>

Not your finest moment Phil.<laugh>

He left there after a string of defeats.

If we've been unmotivated, ML has a role in that.
If we've been tactically unsound, ML has had a role in that, too.
I'm not blaming him for all our problems, but he played a part.

If Garry Monk can get the players motivated and NOTHING ELSE, we will see a honeymoon period. If we can get 11 more points, I think we could be safe. I've said for a long time that Monk isn't fast enough at this level, but his defensive nous is unquestionable. He has been part of our journey from ****sville to the top tier.
He knows everyone at the club. He doesn't have to work through a bedding in period. This could be the short term answer to this season's stalling form.

I reckon Chico will be benched next game and to be honest given his performances (ignoring the 'brick' incident) I wouldn't argue.

bet he don't know where the kettle is. Curt has got that all wrapped up.

Unbelievable decision. Can't see another manager who is available that will improve the team in the slightest.

After all thats happened over the wonderful last decade with the swans it would be heartbreaking if they self destruct just as we were settling into the prem last season and possibly heading for even greater glories!
Now that he`s gone then after the **** storm that may follow it would be incredible if we do stay up and regroup over the summer rather than rely on the yoyo effect to get us back up later.
But they never do things the easy way so it may be a blessing in disguise as with some other managers and players that have left us has shown. And maybe the team can become a unit again with improved fitness playing the way we have supported for years, and not the half hearted shadow of the team that we knew.

Just heard that the Monk deal was a ploy to get ML to walk....which is what it seems like this morning. Apparently ML said he was happy to work with Gary, but that was not what the board was expecting.....he called their bluff and so they had to revert to the good old fashioned sacking approach! What a bunch of clueless turds they are!

Anyway, what's done is done. I just hope all the players and fans get behind Monk and Curtis. I will, because when all is said and done I will always be a Jack....just a slightly saddened and angry one right now.

We have a good championship board , running a Premier League club poorly . We will be the laughing stock of the league because of our board

Are there any rumours for anything else playing a part other than a poor run of form and uncertainty over his longterm future?

If not this is an unbelievable decision.
