If it's the cable then it's not to dear. If it's the thrust wheel or the clutch itself it is. To be honest with you I don't think there is anyway of knowing it's the cable without it being inspected properly. I would get the price for all three so you know the damage before starting Speak to RR to get you mates rates on his garage.
According to the add it says "needs a new clutch cable" so could I drive it around? Had a little look around and average price ive come across is £90... That's to replace it and labour
You will find out when you test drive it, sometimes people do things like loosen a part to hide the more expensive part on the vehicle that you won't notice. You can tell I sold a dodgy car in the past
