It's a disgrace that our hierarchy hold the cups in such low esteem. You'd think we were used to winning them? Weakened team in all the cup, even the Europa until the later rounds......
I've never understood this with either club mate ........ neither will ever win the league again but crawl out of the cups. Sunderland have been shocking in recent years. Yet look at the excitement created by the 'lesser' cup final ......... I know people flying in from places like Hong Kong & Oz with no tickets.
