No - the product I'm thinking of was recommended for a health problem specific to men. I say was because it was sold in the 19th century...

    Heidelberg Pils.

Still dealing with men's psychological and physical problems. For example, if you find the women in the pub unattactive, a few pils will cure that; if you want to improve your oratorical skills in a debate, s few pils will do that; if you are unsure about the quality of your dancing, a few pils will ease those worries.

Heidelberg Pils, curing men's problems for nearly 200 years.

Nice try, but no - the product I'm looking for was worn, not drunk. Although these days you'd have to be drunk to contemplate wearing one...

No - although it may have been convenient for carrying a sword...

No - a sword dangling off a codpiece would surely have raised a few eyebrows. :)

But that's sort of not far off....

That's the one - extremely efficacious for those suffering from impotence. Or so the blurb said. ;)

    Over to you...

Wish I could think of a witty question, but here's a London one instead. Which London thoroughfare is supposed to have got it's name from being a site where archery was practised every Sunday ?
