I don't intend on betting on this. But if what you say is true, then here is a chance to make some very easy money. Set the odds, get people to bet and they will surely lose. How can it go wrong?

On the other hand maybe ML is staying until GM gets his badge and will then take over. This is next Swans manager betting. It doesn't mean we'll have a new manager right now.

If Laudrup goes it will be time to celebrate. The troubling event is if he stays. So yes, I'd be very happy to see him go. I want us to stay up.

I wouldn't know, lots around here think they have an inside track though. It doesn't strike me as particularly cloak and dagger.

If he does go, right now, are we strong enough to survive with the resulting player fallout....because I'm sure it would happen, especially those who joined because of ML (Michu, Pablo, JDG, Chico, Amat, Canas)

You'd hope they would be professional enough to deal with it. At least until the end of the season.

I've no idea, but I can't see how it could be any worse than it is now. Can it get any worse than it was against West Ham? Managers come and go all the time and players usually get on with the job. It's all part of being a player.

You'd hope so, but it depends in how it's handled. We've probably already started to see some of it already with recent performances. If the players loyal to ML think he's been shafted it will be tough for them.

Only Michu leaving would make me gutted. The rest could be easily replaced within our budget as I would say none of them would have increased in value since they got here. The question is would an unknown manager be able to attract them.

Agree with this , they came for him not us , although the money would have been a huge contributing factor as well. It would depend on professional pride (not seen much of that recently) and if we went down who's gonna want to stay and how tight are their contracts .A lot of variables for them to consider before throwing their dummies out of the pram.

...but of course, this is just a huge ruse.
Make Cardiff think the club is in disarray (more than theirs lol) so they get a false sense of security and then Bazinga ! we hammer the living **** out of them on Saturday.

What's all this nonsense about Garry Monk, is he some kind of Messiah or what. Has no management experience and hasn't completed his coaching badges to the required level. Let's get real we're a premiership team fighting relegation. Both the board and ML need to have their heads knocked together. Let's all start pulling in the right direction NOW! We had a little snigger with the TAN fiasco a month or so back but our situation is now turning into a far worse situation. We're just treading water at the moment the board obviously blaming ML and vica Versa. The board bringing in what can only be described as mediocre signings and ML insisting he doesn't even know who Emnes is, whilst our relegation rivals have brought in some top class signings. If the board were and are unhappy then they should have had the courage of their convictions and sacked ML and moved far more decisively than they have instead of trying to get him to resign and save on compensation. They should take heed nothing will compensate for losing our Premiership status. Back him totally or sack him.

At least Tan was honest - I'm on my over to sack the manager.

Meanwhile, Huw was just having coffee, and despite the dismal performances no-one thought of mentioning Michael. LOL. I think if we all got together for a coffee, Michael would be no.1 on the agenda.

I agree ,but how quick some are to jump on the band wagon .One of the biggest future defining games in our history . one which could determine our long term future and there can't be many arguments with this statement , an eastern focussed media who control the verbal and written channels of communication who would glory in our demise .If the rumours about the split are true then the board should have either backed the manger or sacked him , at least show the courage of their convictions .

None of them have increased in value? Really? Pablo still worth at least £5 million. JdG is a loan, so no equity. Chico, Amat and Canas cost about £5 million in total and I think they are worth at least £10 million. And you can add Pozuelo who is worth at least £2/3 million for potential alone. And no, an unknown manager would not be able to attract them.

Seems to me that Monk is getting what he's been angling for, for a long time. Are we really considering an unqualified, journeyman player for our manager? And Graeme Jones, perennial relegation battler (FAILED) second favourite? I can't wait to see what kind of expertise, what kind of players, these two shining examples of managerial excellence will bring to the club.

Jenkins and the Board are really showing their cheapskate colours now. This is beyond pathetic. Yes, Laudrup has made mistakes but he has had to contend with a massive injury list, a fixture schedule that nearly relegated Newcastle (a MUCH bigger club than us) last season, behind the scenes backstabbing from some players and from the Board (buying Emnes and possibly N'gog without his approval whilst ignoring any quality this window).

On second thoughts, we'd better hang on to the prospect of the likes of Monk (who MIGHT become a decent manager after serving an apprenticeship under someone experienced) and Jones, because no manager of any standing would fancy coming into what is proving to be a viper's nest of a club.

I would now like Michael Laudrup to leave this club because he deserves better. If/when he does, I hope that Jenkins will show at least an ounce of common sense and bring in a manager of PROVEN ability. They are out there but will they want to come? Upon reflection, I suppose the answer is yes. Football abounds with mercenaries who will take any job just for the money. Michael Laudrup was never that.

No papers mentioning at all, apart from EP, so probably just a bookie trying to get some money in on a no-hoper. If there was any truth in it, surely at least one newspaper would have something to say about it.

Or maybe Huw put the rumour out so he can get better odds on the real next manager.
