Perfect game to bounce back with. Big team so we will up our game, at home where we have been very good, so basically expect a loss. <ok>

Im not keen on either but Cissokho has a valid excuse that he is only getting into the league. Toure has been here years and I really expected a lot more from him.

Toure did have a bad game yesterday and not just for the goal but from that point onwards, he should have done better with a header and lost possesion a few times when we were looking a threat, Cissokho actually played well in the first half but faded. Of the two Toure is a useful defender but when he has to play all the time his age shows, Cissokho has been terrible in most games I'd be surprised if we keep him.

Arsenal aren't going to sit back defending hoping for a lucky goal. I think this suits our tactics.

Its the teams that try and frustrate us that can be dangerous. At home against a team that isn't trying to take a nap will always fancy our chances this season.

I don't mean to sound negative but I think this game will be a draw or a loss. We're lucky that our toughest games in the second half of the season are at Anfield but we cannot rely on our good home record to secure a top four place. What if our sterling home record starts to collapse? This season we've played well against the big teams but have rarely won (very unlucky at City and Chelsea). Top four is still in our hands but we need to either start playing better in away games (against everyone!) or maintain our great home form against the top teams and our direct rivals. I hope I'm wrong but I get the feeling that top four is slowly slipping from our grasp. We need to get behind our team, but they also need to put the effort in -- which seemed lacking against WBA.

Moyesy will be rubbing his boney hands tonight, only five 7-0 wins on the trot required to overtake the noisy neighbours.

He wrote "Im not keen on either but Cissokho has a valid excuse that he is only getting into the league." Whilst he (Rub) might not be keen on munching he thinks that Cissokho has a valid excuse - what that excuse is he doesn't tell us. So we are left with the impression that Ru and Cissokho are minge munch avoiders!

But I didn't know there was a munching league.

You might be in for a surprise, then. This Arsenal team are not the same one from season's past. We have tended to sit back a lot more and try and attack with quick counters. Walcott is going to be a big miss, but with Chamberlain getting two goals the other day, he should be in confident mood and we will need his pace on the counter.
