I think GFH have proved beyond a doubt just how bad they are for the club, I would like them completely out of the picture, no keeping a 25% stake, I want us cleaned of them just as we cleaned ourselves of Bstes. In an ideal world I would also prefer Haigh not being part of any new group.

Haigh's job has obviously been to find us a new investor/buyer what a circus and what a joke it has all been, he has been in the job a year and between himself and GFH they have managed to turn us into a laughing stock

It appears haighs previous backer was a night club owner Terry Riley. . Haigh really does know how to find big hitters. Think I'll sell my old van and team up with that lot

Just after reading the first few comments of this thread, I really love how everyone hates Haigh because he maybe over promised a bit and was a bit quick to put things up on his twitter when he should've waited. To me he has lied about certain things but not really on purpose, it was more written out of hope than anything else. But I still accept the hate towards him, maybe not agreeing with it entirely but I see where it comes from.

But what does amaze me more than anything is that within seconds of people even knowing Cellino was interested he has already lied multiple times, tried to decieve the whole entire fanbase, sacked the manager although he had absolutely no authority, try and bring in 5 players that manager stated he didn't want, interfered with everything including putting a wannabe spy in the training ground, caused the club's sponsors to back out in disgust. Couple all that with his past of fraud convictions, the state of the ground at his previous club, the inability to get a fair size club to anywhere near the top of a pretty poor league, the fact he has averaged over 1.5 managers a season for 20 seasons now and fans seem to want him involved in the club.

Im actually speechless about that, compare him to anyone who has had control over leeds in the last however long and they don't come close, imagine if Bates did anyone of those things or treated the manager like that, fans just wouldn't have stood for it. Bates was called a crook constantly but at least he didn't have the convictions to back up the statement.

Money talks Josh, especially to a success hungry fanbase. All they want is someone with money and prepared to splash it, rather than integrity and sportsmanship that is meant to be the bedrock of the game.

If he does spend 100s of millions, it makes you wonder what he could get away with with the full backing of a large swathe of the fanbase.

If we knew EVERYTHING about Bates I would guess there is not much between Bates and Cellino, they both sound like crooks to me, the difference is one wanted to starve the club of funds to live his lavish lifestyle the other wants to pump money in from his own pocket. If there is another bidder out there who can provide PROPER funding and bring some quality players in let them step forward now, if not and it is another year of GFH or Cellino then I want the Italian.

Quality players - another issue, Ristac. It's Cellino who'll pick the players - not the manager. BM had no say in the 5 players Cellino lined up for us. If they don't perform, it's the managers' fault. If they're brilliant, it's because of the owner. Lose, lose every time for the manager. And these 5 players would only be the start!

Josh the difference between haigh and the Italian .... DH kept telling us it was going to be great and all done for the fans and the future of the club was going to be in great hands and we are going for promotion with plenty of funding. It was a lie and done on vanity and he has shown himself up and because he built the hopes of Leeds fans he is taking stick.

Italian is a known problem and maybe sacks managers who under perform, may lie and cheat but because we know it we know what to expect as a worst case scenario. he hasn't over promised and is going to buy back Ta and Er and inject cash into the squad.

I know where my vote goes

Sure I read somewhere that he intends to close down the academy as well. Might be a rollercoaster ride while he's here but what will we be left with when he goes ?

I agree that part is a major worry and so wrong in every aspect.

However the manager now goes in with his targets, they are declined for being too expensive, want too much wages or any other financial reason. He goes in with second or third choices and again they are refused until he finds one who is free.

Okay I am assuming the manager does not get too many off the top of his list, I can't prove it but it is the general feeling

But yes, bottom line is if Cellino is going to not permit the manager to have a say in who comes in then it will be a major problem.

I love how many people assume Cellino is going to pump millions into the team, i really do.

He's not done that for his hometown club, why the fk would he do it for us?
