One unnamed ******ed delusional **** of a poster on this board, for a while was trying to argue and put Gervino on par with Hazard. lol.
I remember certain posters (no names mentioned) who felt we should have pushed more players forward in attack that evening. I beg to differ however, I think we set out to not over-commit and it worked as they couldn't find a way through us easily apart from when Lampard's shot hit the bar.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...zard-Arsenal-winger-Gervinho-inspiration.html Gerv taught Hazard everything he knows. And anyway, Gervinho has gone onto prove that he is indeed a very good player at Roma.
I don't know about that, it remains to be seen how they rebound from this setback. They have Norwich in the next game, which shouldn't prove too difficult but they've now lost that home record unbeaten at home this season and since 2010. It may affect them mentally.
So we can write the likes of Pogba,Vidal and co off as well? If you look at Gervinho's career, his **** spell at Arsenal was a blip. He has been excellent for Lille,Roma and Ivory Coast.
http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20140203/club-statement-joe-kinnear_2281670_3652469 Kinnerar steps down as the Director of Football at Newcastle. Never forgot the story about him trying to sign a player who was already a Newcastle player. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-transfer-news-joe-kinnear-2670971#.UvAhjfl_vNl
That wasn't what he was saying though, he was responding to your comment that the Italian league is ****.
What a ****ing shambles that has been. His appointment in the first place was an odd one as Kinnear has never been the most astute man in football, which was proved during his time at Newcastle where he didn't even make one permanent signing and the only one he tried to was already a Newcastle player.
He's not that daft, he was on £15k a week. Who's the bigger mentalist, Kinnear or Ashley?! I hope old Ben Afri, Amenobi and Yohan Kebab will get over this dissapointment. I'm aware Cabaye has left for PSG so don't go pointing that one out!
And I stick to that, the Italian league is ****, the quality is poor, Juventus are running away with it, and they aren't even in the Champions League. Some people on here go on about the Spanish league being weak, yet there are 3 teams competing for the title right now, if the Spanish league is weak, then what's the Italian league compared to it, with only 1 team going for the title, and that team not even being in the UCL? Italian league= ****, end of story.
