Paul Lambert I seem to remember couldn't get away from you boys quick enough when a better job offer came along. It's all about aspirations treacs!
Going slightly off topic now Warky now that you are losing the debate? Lambo got an offer he couldnt refuse. Villa are a bigger club with greater potential. Thanks and gratitude must go to him and his team for their achievements. However Norwich and their fans have moved on. The infrastructure, fanbase and squad strength will allow Norwich to maintain their premiership status. The premiership is a different place to when Ipswich last played there.
Norwich have moved on from lambert, is that why they refuse to sell players to him? Look at the facts, hughton has only only done well when everything is in place, i.e. newcastle a premiership squad in the championship, and birmingham the same albeit in difficult times. I said at the start hughton was a limited manager tactically, and it has turned out completely as i said it would. MM, on the other hand is proving he can build a side with basically **** all money and was only heading one way, fantastic manmanagement skills, is hitting right on the button tactically the majority of the times. Its a no contest.
Treacs Agent Hughton is doing a damn fine job in changing all that mate! I just hope that he is given the time he needs to complete the job!
I haven't seen either of them cradling a baby, so I'm not sure how you could possibly come to that conclusion
If the Scumitis were caused by Norwich fans, it wouldn't be recent problem now would it? You should write a book called "Witty and intelligent retorts of the Ipswich Guru: a Binner Scum's guide to comebacks". It would be refreshingly short.
Look on the brightside rob, when we are around you lot stop tearing seven bells of **** out of each other. So i presume because you spill out abuse instead of actually debating the issue that you can't defend hughton.
Come on tweacs, answer the question, if norwich and the fans are so over lambert, why are they refusing to sell players to him?
Prem teams are only allowed 25 players, as Hoolahan is not a youth player we would need to replace him i believe the offer was about £2m and that was not sufficient to force a sale as a replacement would be much more expensive. We sold him a youth keeper already too.
