So one bet down - one loser!

I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

3 00 Kemptn-- Poste Restante--put up last time it ran over 1m4f--noted getting going toward the end again--as was observed by Stick , it looked like a schooling ride , in that the horse was not really 'put' into the race--tomorrow he's stepped up to the 2m distance--at the likely odds 10/1 its worth a punt that it will suit.

5 00 Kempton --a low grade 1m 4f event--just to say that the ex curley horse Sovento -he that won a coup a few years back for Sean Harley and the master fixer, i note he is running for another new trainer...his kempton record (horse) is two fourths, two seconds and a win--all in this grade--i will heed the market --if there is a move just before the off...

OK <laugh> I'm slightly concerned that he's suggesting Vautour heads to the Deloitte rather than Faugheen though? Deloitte over 2m2 seemed the perfect test for him prior to the Neptune to get his jumping improved in a race run at, presumably, a decent pace. Probably running out of options for any sort of half decent test now before Cheltenham. His jumping is a concern to me.

Two I tipped last time are out again tomorrow. Neither ran that well but are both high up on my level of interest scale.
DERMATOLOGISTE Southwell 12:45 8-1 is a must. He really should be winning off a mark of 93 quite comfortably. First time blinkers applied to stoke the old rogue up and should do the trick. Johnson for is Mum is always a worry though!
The other one is POSTE RESTANTE 3:00 Kempton 7-1. I am sure there is more to come from this horse. He has looked in need of stepping up in trip and that happens tomorrow with a jog over two miles. He has shown bits and pieces of form but gets in here off a very low mark. The yard don't usually have horses ranked this low and they will be keen to get a win on the board.

Rich Ricci says FAUGHEEN is one for the notebook fellas so you better jot that one down........oh and I hear the yard have a half decent hurdler called HURRICANE FLY too! You can thank me later for those two! Fecking Banker!!!

Come on RED SHERLOCK and THE NEW ONE

I don't know what to make of it either Beefy but I'm past caring. Faugheen goes for the Neptune. Vautour goes Supreme. Briar Hill goes AB. They'll have 3 in every race and it's possible the second and third string outrun their more favoured stablemates.

A Pipe horse in a grade one. You're welcome to Red Sherlock. How often has The New One won in open company again? And what's he beaten?

Well I sure remember him winning at the Festival last season when all you cuddy followers told me all year the Irish banker was in the race! Oh and didn't he annihilate a previous Champion Hurdler this season........oh yeah so he did!
I am not a Johnny come lately on the horse either Bob, had him at 14's for last years Festival and have him at 8's this time round!

As for RED SHERLOCK he sent a Mullins good thing home with its tail between its legs recently and I wont be surprised if he does it again next month!

I know you backed TNO last year but he's never faced a challenge like this year. He's beaten trees this year. Lost when raced anything decent. I think Annie Power will beat him even if the Fly doesn't. He's not a 3/1 shot. He should be 6's.

Red Sherlock is good but Rathvinden is just a sighter for the Irish and all that travel could have taken it out of him. If you boil it down the Neptune is Sherlock against Mullins and I'm taking Mullins to produce grade one winners every day of the week. I'm taking Pipe to produce grade one winners once a fortnight if conditions are perfect and the rest of the field falls over.

Seattle have been superb. Completely suffocating. 2 interceptions. 22 points to none. Game over.

I'm pissed. I never saw this coming. It's the equivalent of a team folding 6 or 7 nil in the Champions League Final. Manning has been crap. Broncos are shell shocked.

Astonishing game Bob. Seattles defence was ferocious today- never allowed them into the contest but I agree- the Broncos were poor with execution.
