Must admit very surprised Samaras didn't leave, he may pick up a better salary in the summer (although some clubs offer silly money in January to get the deals done) but with a world cup round the corner he is playing a dangerous game as it is looking obvious he wont sign contract and Lennon will hopefully look to give that Dutch bloke a run with a view to next season.

Both signed new deals 18 months ago, I would have thought we would had option to extend contract though?
Will this thread close once the Turkish transfer window closes or are we going to keep this open and aa sticky through to the summer?? Forster is pretty much off judging by recent comments, we still need atleast one more attack minded midfielder though 2 are required if Samaras goes, we need another centreback as that guy who we signed in summer is out of contract and its fair to say we wont be renewing that deal based on the fact he has been injured 99% of his time here! Our scouts should be busy between now and June
