I cheered them on in the early 90's as who doesn't want the underdogs to have their day. Alas, they screwed it up four years running. As a dolphins fan, I never seen anything near success from them in my lifetime. I just want other teams to get beaten so that they remain the only team to have finished the season with a perfect record (albeit from a time when the season was shorter).
The four loses in a row thing + the unglamorous location was why I picked them as 'my team' the ultimate underdogs. Sadly they haven't made the play-offs for 14 years now but when they do it'll be just that much sweeter their loyal fans deserve some success, I can only imagine how intense the crowd would be at a snowy Ralph Wilson stadium in the middle of January! I think all Bills and Dolphins fans will be celebrating when Tom Brady retires! until he does I fear we'll always be playing for 2nd place in the AFC East.
It probably isn't, that's dollar prices remember. When we were at Wembley it was £8 an item for chips, pies, and burgers. You'd think beer would be at least the same price so $12 isn't far off.
Another completely boring game in a ridiculous "sport" played by thugs. I stopped watching American "football" 30 years ago. And the "World Champion" thing is just the most ludicrous aspect of the whole sorry spectacle. Kids have been shifting over to "soccer" over here in droves for years. Parents woke up to the fact that they don't want a bunch of brain damaged half crippled offspring in their old age.
It is one of the reasons they ask you when you go to jail here about your concussion history. When you go in (after processing and before they send you to your cell) they send you to the nurse to answer a whole bunch of questions and take your vitals (look for tracks etc). They have a pretty extensive list of questions in regards to number of concussions, length of time you were unconsious, dates of concussions, sports you played etc. There are pretty concrete studies showing early and sever concussions increasing the likelyhood of future incarceration.
