It's a pretty good line up this year, particularly with the Chilli's playing on the Saturday. May gto to fill the Glastonbury void this year as I missed out on tickets for that.

The Chillis are a great headliner but the other two/three main acts announced are terribly uninspiring for me, Biffy have been twice since 2010, Calvin Harris has been more than once and KOL did Friday in 2011, and weren't great.

Delighted with The Specials though, they are absolutely excellent.

Well that was rather a one sided super bowl. Went to bed when it was 29-0.

God to see GB in the quarter finals of the Davis Cup after Murray won his second singles match. The important game was Ward unexpectedly winning his singles match. There is now some reasonable back up to Murray. GB has fought back from the bowels of tennis hell with 2 promotions in the absence of Andy. We now play Italy in Italy in March (?).

You may have gathered this but I'm back from Valencia. A great few days which included going up to Barcelona on Saturday and watching Barcelona 2-3 Valencia at the Nou Camp. What a game that was.

I am a little jealous as I haven't been to the Nou Camp. I have been to see Madrid play, and Barcelona is next on my list.

Did you ever go to the Withdean Stadium?

I consider the "Stadium" part of the name false advertising.

Always sad when someone dies, but cannot feel too much sympathy when it is a self-inflicted drug-related death. Waste of a life, but there are undeserving deaths all over the world where innocent people get caught up in wars, famines and disasters. Those are the people who deserve our sympathy...so many who could really have used the money that he wasted.

Depends really. Some celebs take drugs because they have nothing else to do. Were as some do it because they may have a mental illness they are covering up.

Heath Ledger died of a overdose because he felt trapped with his sever depression.

You can't judge all overdose victims the same.

I accept that...walk a mile in my shoes and all that. It's not so much death by drugs which happens right down the social scale, but the idolisation of junkie celebrities. Shouldn't have allowed that to cross over into a case about which I know nothing...especially as I've never heard of him.
