Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity
    between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring[a] and hers;
    he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.”

If this means that Lucifer will be destroyed, does that mean God's love is not unconditional? This for many is a real problem. Can an answer be found that's based on a truth?

God and Satan are two entities made by humankind to explain the unexplainable.

I agree Zico, but that doesn't solve the problem of the double standard. Believers have to find a way around the problem. Carl Jung thought that religion was maybe a part of our genetic make up, as all societies seemed to be steeped in belief. But it seems that it's Christianity that needs an urgent answer.

Humans used to Worship the Sun, Mon, wind, fire, Volcanoes, Bulls, Eagles etc...

Then World admin decided to rationalise everything at the Council of Nicea.
So they got the Egyptian book of the dead, took the best parts out, brought them up to date and made it sexy.

Religion - it's what humans need to stop becoming crazy... or is that to make them crazy, I can never remember.

I was brought up religious, then I learned my own path - we're all spiritual beings, we just need to find our own way of rationalising ****. <ok>

p.s God didn't make us in his own image, cos there's some right ugly ****ers out there.

Is it possible that the early beliefs were their "science?" Their way of explaining the world around them?

Quite frankly the similarities between this and the twin towers incident is very unnerving. Questions need to be asked.

Don't ask me. I'm just the messenger. I am Jesus and this is my second coming.

Then can the Twin Towers horror, be laid at the feet of a bogus science of the past?

Depends on which context you take it in.

    But interesting thought processes here.

But if we go down that track, the world at large is led by fools.

Even though I'm a rationalist , I do believe that God does exist , maybe not as a person, but as some kind of mechanism of fate ... and God/Satan are the two sides of the same coin ...

The world isn't led by fools. Quite the contrary actually.
