    I've been thinking...

The more our fans vent their spleen and chant for the regime to change...

The more those images and sounds will be beamed around the world....

And the more players will look and say 'Jesus the fans are a tough bunch to please... ain't going there to get all that grief'...

The only think that will break the cycle is Fatty going... which he won't so we therefore have a dilemma ans the more we protest and shout at the owner.. the less likely we are to attract any decent players.. and so on and so forth.

    Thoughts?

    Haven't got a clue here......
When your owner or your director of football don't turn up for one of the most important games of the season
    what can you do
it just leaves Pardew to stand up alone to take the flack

As Ashley has appointed others maybe it is these who should hear our voices

    Lee Charnley (Club Secretary),
    John Irving (Finance Director),
    Wendy Taylor (Head of Media),
Steve Storey (Head of Safety and Security),
    Stephen Tickle (Box Office Manager),
Kate Bradley (Head of Newcastle United Foundation)

all these have to report to Ashley

we've tried fans forums, but they ban them when they don't play the Ashley tune

Reasonable points ACS, but for me the issue also seems to be that we don't plan effectively enough and that money rules above all else, even common sense. When Arsenal came in for Cabaye and proposed £10' million or there a bouts, the club shouted " derisory " and rejected it, that was probably about right, he was worth more than that. What it did show was that Cabs would have gone in a second, we can all surmise as to the reasons why. We and by that l mean they, knew then his days were numbered, he wanted out, as did Enrique and Ba before him. We had a target lined up, supposedly in Grenier, his club had a valuation, we offered a fraction of that amount, at the last minute, when it's too late to really thrash out a deal. Others offer x amount for our players, it's derisory they yell, then we do the same and it's prudent financial management. Truth is for the most part, any quality players who find their way to NUFC, soon see it for the "little minded club" we have become, they won't stay, because to do so is too become inert and stagnant if they have career ambitions. Simple as that really! To move on, they really do have to move on, and until they have reasons and hope enough to stay, nothing will change.

Agree with Geordie Lass money rules for our present owner and be damned to anything else. If Ashley was offered 17th position for the next 5 years he`d snap your hands off.

Hence no ambition is the mindset which ultimately affects the players and deters prospective new ones,

    Stagnation for the forseeable.

Boa my old Tiger, I am on the same page but I don't think we can describe our fans as stupid as its not as straight forward as I originally implied as just don't turn up, however something drastic needs to be done.

Maybe everyone turn up 10 mins late all at the same time.... I don't know ??? Just something that gets notice nationwide.
    But SOMETHING NEEDS CHANGING

Fat bastard think the season is over
    So maybe we should

Use an influential fan to find a buyer like Quinn did with Short and the consortium before him. It's your only chance of getting rid of him sooner rather than later. Protests won't do anything and he won't be going anywhere until he's took what is owed from the club.

    Sting.

Born: October 2, 1951 (age 62), Wallsend. Full name: Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner.

A true Geordie that didn't forget his roots as far as I can remember.

What about Shearer? He's a fan, has status and he plays golf. All the magic ingredients.

Quinn met Short at the Ryder Cup. Most business is done on the Golf Course. Shearer could find you a buyer.

Your fan groups should approach Shearer and Sting and try and persuade them to head a consortium
