Can someone please explain all these posts with 3 dots to an old fart like me?

Keep seeing them, don't know ****ing why.

On the missus I-pad most of the time so I don't know if it's an Ipad/laptop/phone thing.

You have to join them up. Use a felt-tip pen. See what happens.

 

Its a bug in the forum from the sounds of it.

If you click on reply with the quote with 3. dots in , the click advanced you should see the picture.

I have just thought on something.

It may be worthwhile clearing your browser cache and files.
I recall fixing a neighbours old laptop with small HD and memory I had to clear loads off his hardrive so he could watch videos and not have to wait ages for pictures too load.

Here is some brilliant software to clear out your cache.
CCleaner.
It also clears your browsing history.
(Handy if you have been browsing porn sites too. )

Just download it, you don't need to change anything.
Run it and it will clean up your drive.

Three full stops. I thought I was missing out.

 

seems a few of us are getting the 3 dot syndrome so it's unlikely to be a browser/cache issue imho
