Yesterday you fully deserved the three points, you wanted it more, you were better prepared and tactically stronger

However we dropped a bollock there is a reason you are two points from the drop.

You mention looking into our failures,
Well were do I start ??

We are rotten to the course and will be till fat mike goes,
We have a owner who is happy just to
Measure success on a flow chart.

Ps, I am not on here to win a popularity competition, boa would win that

We are 2 points from the drop due to the now departed PDC regime, not due to the calibre of our squad.

Surely that is clear by the results under Gus?

Sometimes the league table DOES lie, it doesn't at the end of the season.

    From the Journal: http://www.thejournal.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/even-press-room-newcastle-uniteds-6660345

Full transcript of Alan Pardew's post-derby press conference:

Question: It’s a tough question to ask you but is the club, as it stands, capable of making permanent signings?

    Pardew: “Well …”

Press officer: “I think that’s an unfair one to ask the manager.”

Question: But it’s two transfer windows without one now and Alan said …”

Pardew: “I’ve got no comment to make on that one.”

Question: You said at the start of last wee week that the club can’t not replace Yohan, but that’s exactly what happened.

Pardew: “I didn’t particularly say in this window though. I said, you know, we’ve got to get players of that class, there’s no doubt about that. So don’t try and angle that for this window because I think that’s unfair on me.”

Question: You said ‘we need to bring someone in, for sure. We can’t lose someone of his quality and not replace him. That would leave us vulnerable’. Do you stand by that?

Pardew: “Well, I’ve said it, ain’t I? But I’m meaning in the long-term as well as the short-term, that it’s the quality we need. And, you know, today has been a tough day for us and I don’t really want to add any more to it, to be honest.”

Question: Part of the problem you’ve got is that if you don’t speak out against not getting a replacement it makes it look as though you’re going along with the decisions the board is making and therefore you get criticism heaped on your shoulders and take the blame for that.

Pardew: “Yeah, I’m a professional manager. You know, if I was in charge, solely, of transfers, the answer might be different, but I’m not.”

Question: It does feel sometimes that you’re being asked to manage with your hands tied behind your back.

Press officer: “These are all quite unfair questions.”

Question: Unfortunately the manager is the only person who will speak for the club. Silence.

Question: Alan, is there a collective blame for today, from the top of the club, right down to on the pitch?

Pardew: “The only way I can answer what has happened today is that it’s a disappointing day for the club.”

Question: What do you say to Mike Ashley and Joe Kinnear when you’re having those discussions on Friday and it’s clear you’re not going to get a replacement (for Cabaye)? Do you make your opinions clear on that?

Pardew: “I think I’ve made my opinion very clear this week and all the rest of it is confidentiality.”

Question: How do you lift yourself?

Pardew: “I’ll be alright.” Walks off.

This, to me, says just as much as any statement criticising the owner and JFK publicly - maybe even more!

We've had a lot worse managers than Pardew, and the better ones haven't had to try and do the job with one hand tied behind their backs.

Who we would like and who we'd get under Ashley are two completely different things, and as far as I can see, JK would be an option for him. Having a heart attack doesn't make him an invalid.

Given that Pardew has his hands firmly tied behind his back on player recruitment and sales and has to act as the face of the club despite this do you really think he is the worst manager the club has ever had, from some of the comments you would think so. The players should be apologising to Pardew and the fans as they were dreadful on Saturday, Anita and HBA should be particularly shamefaced as Anita with his rash and woeful charge into the box to give away a penalty, HBA hanging on to the ball in the middle of the pitch and then going down for a free kick, when he had ample opportunity of playing an out ball, leading to the 3rd goal. Since the days of Keegan only one manager stands out to me as better than our current one and that is Sir Bobby, when you look at Ashley don't forget about his wonderful predessesors, the regime that mocked the fans and treated one of the most respected football managers of his age so shabbily. I am not a "Pardew Lover" just someone who thinks he does a hard enough job made even more difficult by Ashley and his merry men.

IF we had ambitious owners, it might be different, but given the club management and level (or lack) of ambition, then I think Pards is about as good a manager as we can possibly expect (and who would actually want to come here).

All the questions are fair Pardew. Just grow a set of balls and try to answer the ones the fans actually want you to answer.

The press officer needs to be crucified upside down for the good of humanity.

I know I come under that unspeakable term of 'Pardew Lover' but I think he's been clever enough to leave no doubt about his answer to the questions as much as possible without being blatant enough to get sacked. I appreciate I'm probably in the minority of not wanting him to get sacked, but you can't expect him to want that too.

It didn't annoy me as much as it made embarrassing reading mate. I would just love Pardew to say 'What the f**k do you want me to do? Eh? I'm going to spill the beans, f**king all of it, starting with....' as he is engulfed by Ashley's goons, gagged and dragged away with Kinnear coming out and proceeding to call everyone 'Caanntttss!'

That at least would be entertaining.

Pardew getting sacked would do no good now and possibly harm us. If MA ever shows more ambition/willingness to back a manager... Then would be the time to hope for someone like Laudrup.
