Personally I disagree. Just dont see the Ox as a central midfielder. He will turn into a great little player thoough.
The goal keeper for Arsenal deserves a lot of praise this season as he has been excellent and he made another vital save today.
Yep Not the first time he's made a crucial save to keep us in the lead. He's having a very good season.
He is going to have to improve that passing % to play there in the big games, but seems like Wenger likes to start by trying midfielders out wide and then moving them centrally if they graduate.
Not sure what your point is? Do you think there are certainties in football? Do you know of anyone who has played or worked in the game that will tell you that they know for certain what is going to happen? Try making a point and typing whole sentences, rather than just being snide.
offended again ? constant offence aside , It must be great being you , and Knowing so much about everything . Then having the grace to come here and patronise everyone who clearly know so much less . Thanks again .
At the time, he was right though. We needed more defensive cover (this was before we signed Per), yet Wenger signed a 16 year old from Soton, in true Wenger style. Considering how much i loathe Piers, it pains me to say that he was right.
I was at the time saying he wasn't what we needed and that i was more interested in what else we would get done, so i totally understand the way of thinking. But looking back we also signed several other players that transer window. So it wasn't a case of oxo or someone else, but oxo and others. And we can't be annoyed because it was an easier transfer to conclude than the others which happened later. But i can see why piers made the comments givden the timing of them
3 more points, top of the table and you lot are at each other throats Well, some of you. What I wouldn't give to be in Arsenal's position. Ok sure, City are surely the favorites but I see no reason why Arsenal won't and can't push them all the way.
Bizarre, isn't it? The funny thing is that I can bet there are Arsenal forums which are even more mardy than this one right now.
That's got more to do with the people involved than the team itself. I suspect some of the guys on here would still be at each other's throat, even if were the best team in the world and won everything in sight.
This ^ Some people seem more interested in getting one over than enjoying seeing us at the top of the league.
I thought AOC was utter toilet for the first 46 minutes then he goes and scores two like that... He made internal ranting me look a right mug*! *Was watching the game with the father in law (a Spud) who was making numerous old man football references to "jessies", "woofters" and how much better things were back in the olden days. I wasn't really paying attention but it was something to do with tying an onion to the belt, which, apparently, was the style at the time. Consequently I was biting my tongue throughout and raging internally at the pace we were playing at. Well done us though. Another solid performance and we've discovered a way to beat teams. I don't think we'll be scoring 20 a game but I'll grudgingly accept 2-0 wins Also...did Jedinak make it through the entire game unbooked? If so, that's impressive. Finally... which one of you kicked the football gods in the nadgers?! Hmm? Own up. Bad enough that we lose players to others injuring us, bad enough we pick up red cards and even bad enough to sign injured replacements but to take ourselves out!! Come ON!
