http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_6991534,00.html offers from ****ty, barca, inter, juventus and ourselves are all on the table, so it's left for the player to decide where to go. fergie has been interested in him for years, so it begs the question why has he waited until his value has risen above £30 million and we have to compete with the likes of barcelona for his signature, when we could have had him a year ago with nowhere near the level of competition.
I think he will stay in Italy with Inter. I think he has already expressed a desire to stay there, however you never know Where would this leave the Young deal if Sanchez signed for us ?
good point that. about staying in italy, the chairman said he thinks he wants to move abroad. but yeah if we did manage to get him i wonder what would happen with young
I'm guessing that means his agent prefers Barca cos the wages (and hence the agent's cut) will be higher...
If he is true to his word, then he'll come" to United because he has said in the past that he is a United fan. But I expect him to go Barcelona, no real surprise there. He is Chilean, so I'm fairly certain his native language is Spanish so there's no problems there- not forgetting it's Barcelona also. Out of the other Italian teams, surely Inter are the main challengers for his signing. City, pah! We were linked with him a while back but I don't think his signing was ever really a priority, more a luxury if you get what I'm getting. Not that it's a must signing right now either but I wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't get him because other areas are more important like in goal and central midfield.
Yeah but his agent can hardly say "I think he'll go to City cos that will make me rich". At least by saying Barca is the most likely destination he increases the money he's likely to get, and also maintains at least some credibility!
Barca hardly need him though do they? as for us £30m? bit hefty when we need the spondoolies spent elsewhere
If he wants to go to a club who will win things then I think he will go to Barcelona. If he wants to be a top clubs main man then I think he will come to United. If he already wants to stay in Italy but he wants to be at the top he will go to Inter and if he is a greedy bastard who only thinks about money then he will go to City.
I must admit I'm starting to get increasing concerned that Nani may be leaving. Why else would we be trying to sign two wingers ? I know Sanchez could play elsewhere but his best postion is on the wing is it not ?
Ok... Nani, 2 footed, way more options, better attacking player..... valencia, 1 footed, 1 dimensional, better defensive player.... Are we stoke city? Nani is our best winger without question, why weaken ourselves?
Nani is greedy and wastes many chances plus he play acts. Valencia is a great crosser of the ball (though not the latter part of this season) and more willing to pass the ball to a colleague. Why sell either?
