It might not have been a rant but if there are plenty of other threads like it then there isn't much point in having another one that's similar open as well. Maybe Gonzo could have merged it instead of deleting it, but what's done is done. I'm sure if you asked nicely he'll open it and merge it so people can see what you've put and can discuss it in the thread that it gets merged with.
It wasn't deleted, it was merged into the Ayre thread along with four others. Gonz did two but left a link, I did two and didn't leave a link.
Yep, it would. Reason I didn't leave links is because there would have been four of them taking up half the page. I tried to remove the other two links too but it wouldn't let me
