Oxlade-Chamberlain will probably keep his place after scoring both goals in their home defeat of Crystal Palace. This is the last game in the block of #megadeath; last season we got just 1 point from Stoke (A), Villa (H), Everton (H), West Brom (A) and Arsenal (H). We have 8 points so far from the same fixtures this season.
lets hope we see some sort of reaction to todays game. players will have a point to prove, just hope we have enough to over come arsenal as they are playing good football at the moment. bit worried how poor we are at the back, but guess we will have to do a real and score more than the opo lol. shooting boots needed for sure, as we have to make the most of what chances we get, and maybe we can get them on the back foot and go on and win.
If we play like today against West Brom we will lose 3 -0. If sakho is back I would like to see a back four of Kelly, Sakho, Skertyl and Flanno. Just keep Toure and Cissokho as far away from the team as possible. Then if we play to our best we might scrape a win, Arsenal are very good in midfield so could easily starve SAS of service
Next Year is your year Though as long as you/Everton get that 4th spot I won't mind. Fancy you for it.
D!cking them last week and a lot of other teams, I would hope we do get it (4th). As for yourselves, your team is more solid than its ever been, but still there for the beating. Would rather your lot won the league over the chavs or city, but can't see you winning anything again.
For me... I vote draw. arsenal don't just seem as... I don't know.. quite as in form. they miss ramsey and such. there is something solid about arsenal which is not there with LFC. I expec tour big time charlies to perform v arsenal and a tight game as a result
In those 14 long years since that year was theirs we've won a League Cup, FA Cup, Uefa Super Cup and the trophy they yearn for the biggest trophy in European football. Stick to the Emirates Cup oxo its your comfort blanket.
If we try to play football against them, we'll lose. I expect to see a similar approach to the derby; tight counter-attacking.
Funny thing is though that the history thing is relevant, if not how are you bragging oxo? Entering the CL only lines your owners pockets unless you win it, and finishing other than first in the league is nothing to brag about. Wenger has brainwashed you mate,.
