Shame Arsene's contacts aren't better, then you would not get duped into signing a cripple

Nope they weren't duped. I think they knew. Strange one. Anyway don't let it get your back up.

Seems he had a minor injury that the scans did not detect at his Medical, so he was passed fit. He told Wenger that despite the scans he felt there was some problem. That alone shows he is honourable. A further scan picked up a very slight back problem, so Arsenal made the decision to go ahead. From where I sit, no one was either stupid or dishonest, just plain old bad luck.

So signing a player on loan for 5 months knowing he'll miss 3 through injury is sensible is it? Not sure how it's down to luck when as you say everyone had all the facts.

He's going to miss 6 games not 3 months. The original story was just tabloid sensationalist rubbish.

Chelsea pensioner hit the nail on the head.

So he was out for 2-3 months before you signed him?

Even more reason to laugh at Wenger then...

I think the original story was true and then Arsenal saw how stupid it made them look and got a friendly journo to print their spin on it.

And where did you get 6 games from because the Arsenal spin is saying 6 weeks.

Wenger explained it in his after game comments.

Just read them. Not clear at all. Either way he was either stupid to sign an injured player who 'may' be fit in 6 weeks or he did try to train and made it worse. Both are foolish.

Not quite sure what's so hard to understand, unless you're being willfully idiotic, (which I believe to be the case)
We had a stacked midfield, and then had a little crisis where our best player of the season, (Ramsey), had a 6 week set back, Flamini had a 3 match suspension, and Wilshere got a knock, all in the space of a couple of days. In addition to that, Rosicky broke his nose, and Arteta's just coming back. Now, considering that all our midfielders have been injured at some point in the season, Wenger decided to take up a free loan of a player who he was offered on Wednesday, in case Ramsey suffered a further set back, Wilshere got another niggle, a piano fell out of the sky, etc. It turned out that the player had been injured at Spartak, and would not be fit for a few weeks, but Wenger decided to go through with it anyway, because it's an extra body and we have terrible luck/problems with injuries. Spartak have reportedly agreed to pay for Kim's wages while he is injured and for his medical rehab, so all's well in the financial department. When he gets back, we will have a very experienced back up for flamini, as well as someone who can provide further back up for the best nr1 +2 left back pairing in the league, because one of them has a history for being a bit of a crock.
The situation itself isn't that difficult to understand, whether its ridiculous/an indictment on our transfer policy is another matter all together.

Never used the word sensible, and he's not out for 3 months. What I know is, that the team that made the decision is today sitting on the top of the PL, so I'll go with their decision rather than criticise them.
