In the Carling Cup we will play Rotherham at away

And tommorow the fixtures for the league come out. This is a big week for the club with fixtures coming out and excitement for next season will get bigger. So a few new signings with further encourage people who havent already to go a buy a season ticket so lets hope we have some new signings. The Sun reports today that David Nugent is set to sign. Forget Yak now he has had his chance and has made it clear he isnt going to budge on wages and now there is talk he isnt sure if he wants to play in the championship. He said he was happy here a few months back. So now i would rather we sign Nicky Maynard now

Maynard would be quality - he knows this league well and has a natural ability for the goal. Is a Heskey/Maynard partnership a possibility?? That would tear up this league!

Maynard and Heskey would be class up front. With Nugent and Waghorn on the bench

Heskey isn't coming this summer. I think Stringer said there's a chance of a loan later in the season.

Maynard would be my first choice too, but we need to get on it quickly as I think some Prem Clubs might be sniffing about. We will bid £2 million but that won't be enough, so I hope we're willing to spend more.

Failing him I'd go for Earnshaw.

Is this true, we've already made a bid?

Earnshaw already signed 1 year with the Trees, just hope Sven has something up his sleeve and give us something to shout about. Lets face it how can the club attract even more season ticket holders without making an intent to sign a few big names and make it at least look as if we are going for promotion this season.

Rotherham could be difficult, especially if they manage to keep Le Fondre.

If the Yak's not coming, then Maynard would be a good player to have alongside Nugent although I would like a big fella as well.

Ah yes Rotherham, forget to acknowledge that...

It will be a test for us away, our last trip there we got beat.

Didn't know Earnshaw had signed an extension, oh well. Back to calling him an insufferable buck-tooth dwarf and wanting to knock him out.

Relax foxes everthing will be ok! Remember MON always left it late to bring players in. Nugent would be a good signing for us
As murphy signed for anyone yet? could be a good goalie if he had a good defence in front of him
