If fans were able to rewrite or introduce rules into the game what would you do? Personally if a player is seen diving they should be set off the pitch for 10mins during which they have to sit in an ice bath. They would soon stop.

    Any suggestions, however ridiculous

It's not really a rule but I'd like to see less of this kicking the ball out of a play when a player is down "injured".

I'd like to see a rule whereby no substitutions may be made in the last fifteen minutes of a match..........ah, hang on just a mo <yikes>

Yeah I hate that, but only because the player is rarely injured. If they jump up within 10 seconds of their "injury" maybe the opposition player should get the chance to kick the football at them from 10 yards.

Id like to see in area where they don't disturb play, so not in the penalty areas, the physic is allowed on during play like rugby, this would stop the putting the ball out to get treatment.

It is obviously perfectly acceptable if the player is injured, but as you say, they rarely are and it is just another means by which they can waste time or stifle an oppositions attack. It is a bit of a difficult one to do anything about unfortunately.

I think if a teams s losing by more than 2 goals at 70 minutes they should be allowed an extra player on the pitch until the end.

    Ha!

I think the opposition should be allowed to make a substitution for the other team. May see a few more upsets ha

I'd draw a line across the pitch along edge of the penalty area and have it so only balls played within this area can be headed.

I'd also make the league cup carry a handicap system with the lower teams having goal advantages.

I'd also have the same wages budgets for all top division teams in Europe.

On a serious note, I would abolish the stupid rule of sending a player off for preventing a goal scoring opportunity in the penalty area. If a penalty is given in the first 5 minutes and the culprit is sent off, the match is effectively over. A penalty is punishment enough IMO

I sort of agree, but much depends on the method of preventing the opportunity! For instance, a right hook rendering the attacker unconscious really ought to merit a straight red!

I'd also ban Chris Hughton, Sam Allardyce and Tony Pullis from managing anywhere higher than League One.

Deliberate hand ball on the line should be a goal awarded rather than having to risk missing a pen, like rat faced diver did in the world cup.

A manager transfer window. You can only change manager between seasons and then you have to stick with him, win lose or draw. Just imagine how things would have been if Sunderland were stuck with Di Canio!

I'd really like the ref to be miked up so he can explain his decisions like they do in rugby.

Divers should be made to wear a pair of flippers and a card on their back saying 5.9
